What Are Your Plans For Connected Careers?

Hearing the news that Chad Ochocinco was released by the Patriots today, I was thinking to myself "I wish I could take him over and revive his career.." and then I remembered, I CAN! Thank you Madden! Lol. So I plan on becoming Chad Ochocinco first and maybe going to the Bengals to get him back to elite status, maybe a Super Bowl ring, and a REAL golden HoF jacket...

Re: What Are Your Plans For Connected Careers?

When I first get it I'll just play as the Panthers (my favourite team) and control Ron Rivera. While I do that I would like to achieve:

- Taking Carolina to their first superbowl win
- Making Cam into an elite QB
- Drafting a legit first string wide out to play across from Smith till he retires
- Making Ron Rivera into a top 10 coach.

After I get bored with that I'll create an undrafted QB which I'll make into the next Tom Brady.

Re: What Are Your Plans For Connected Careers?

I'm torn at the moment...but my current plans are:

To start a coaching career with Jim Harbaugh of the 49ers and take them to multiple Superbowl's.

Then I'll probably start a new connected careers making myself as a low draft pick QB of the 49ers.

I know I don't have to start a new CC, but I want to be QB of the current 49ers squad and not only be QB once I'm getting tired of doing the coach thing. By then the team will look waaaay different.

Definitely starting out as my favorite Broncos.

Playing with Manning for a few seasons until Brock Osweiler is ready to take over, and then I'm gonna make him the greatest QB to ever play the game while winning Super Bowl after Super Bowl :P

Oh and of course reestablish the Orange Crush.

I'm gonna play as a DB. Probably just roll with Derek Cox and ball out.

Being Bruce Irvin would be fun; sweet uniforms, big hype, tons of haters.
After he dominates and establishes himself I'll probably make an undrafted running back and take over the nfl playing for the..... Dolphins?

Could be Jamarcus Russell... If you wanna rid him of the biggest bust tag.

I'll just quote myself from another thread:

I've "only" been watching football for about 10 years and followed the NFL very close for about 7-8 years. NFL wasn't a big thing in Europe (Denmark) back then, but now we have 4 live games each weekend!

When I started I didn't have a favourite team. But I absolutely fell in love with the San Diego Chargers... mainly because of their defense led by Shawne Merriman. Since then Merriman first got convicted of using 'roids, then got badly injured and finally released.

Early reports from Buffalo says his getting back to the form he was in when he entered the league. He is in his contract year in Buffalo so he'll have to have some kinda of a productive year if he want a new contract anywhere.

So I think I'll play my first CC as Shawne Merriman and guide him through the rest of his career. Maybe even go back to the Chargers if they want me and try to win a SB with them

Re: What Are Your Plans For Connected Careers?

Assuming that the Ai works well and I don't "need" to control all 32 teams, I'll probably start off as Tom Coughlin, although I'd like to control 3-4 teams at the same time if possible. I like to play as the Giants and Vikes - just two teams I've always followed....and then take a crap team and rebuild it (Browns?) and a good team and try to maintain a dynasty (Pats? maybe Packers?). Not sure what I can do yet....hmmm...sounds like a thread coming.
