Ingame Saves?

Any chances these will be in madden 13. I mean it was in all the PS2 maddens I played, and I dont think it be tedicous to add, but it would quite helpfull in getting through my franchise quicker.

Don't think it's going to happen this year. I think they cited limitations with the hardware as the reason this has never been done.

Re: Ingame Saves?

Strange NBA 2k12 does not have these "Hardware" limitations. Sometimes I wish EA would have just kept the last gen games look to see if they could improve the graphics just a bit without totally gutting the game the way they did.

If the engine the game has been built on is what is limiting them, it's hard to really blame them for it, since most of these guys weren't even there when the engine was developed. Some would say well they should make a new engine altogether, but that makes no sense when we are at the end of the console's lifespan and can develop a new engine for the new consoles. However, they have no excuses when the new consoles come out.

Which is what, 2 or 3 more years from now? This current gen consoles have been an eye sore from the get go.

Neither does MLB 2K or MLB The Show. That argument doesn't jive with me. If EA had this feature back in 2003, no reason at all that it shouldn't be there in 2012.

If we're going to have to wait for in-game saves, I want auto-saves after every play. That would be amazing.

Re: Ingame Saves?

i agree when i first moved up from ps2 to PS3 a yr again for madden 11 that was one first things i noticed was no in game saves and pissed me off. wth should we have leave our systems on and what happens if somebody wants play another game? so u lose all u did that's just lame these excuses of we have limits i thought the ps3 was better console so u cant save in middle of game? lmfao when a system that's 10 yrs older u can? i also hate the CAP stuff also again u can edit them in the older system but in the better console once u create u are stuck and u cant even delete them wtf? lmfao.

Re: Ingame Saves?

I too wish they would add this back into the game. Unfortunately I don't see it happening. I remember a few years ago they pushed gameflow as the answer to shorten games and no longer need to have in game saves. Personally I never understood the rational substituting one for the other.
