Am I the only one who doesn't play with their favourite team often?

I'm a Raiders fan and when I get a Madden game, I play a season. However, I can't stand playing another one. It's probably because I don't want to change the Raiders. I start franchises with all sorts of teams, with several fantasy drafts to create a team that I like. I do all sorts of simulated rebuild seasons. So am I the only one who rarely plays with their favourite NFL team?

I usually can't use the same team twice in a row. I like changing teams for every franchise I do. A new stadium, new jerseys, and new players (Unless I do a fantasy draft which isn't often).

i never use the seahawks. I get too angry when things don't go well.

I tend to play my first season of a franchise with my team...the Eagles, then in the off-season I take control of a crappy AFC team to build and actually play with using players that work best during gameplay, I.E. fast players. I then control the Eagles front office how I think they would and get the best player for simulation.

never played with the Steelers....too much emotions involved....plus i like to see what other teams have to offer especially crappy teams who need some rebuilding

I'm sure you're not. Especially fans of the NFL and not just fans of a certain team. Also a great way to learn about the teams/players of the NFL.

I don't play with "my" teams very often, either, the Pats usually just bore me in the game I prefer using teams with a lot of holes that I can really rebuild and "make my own"

I'm the same way. I'm a Steelers fan, but rarely ever use them in any game mode. I usually just sit back in franchise mode with the team that I have chosen and pull the Steelers in anyway. When I play with them in an exhibition game I usually play so true-to-life Steelers play that it becomes boring. I like spicing it up, but I can't do it with the Steelers for some reason because I know it isn't how they usually play. I don't even play Superstar mode, but I'd never take Ben's or Mendenhall's spot on the team if I do.

I'm with you, I can't play as the Titans because I don't want to change them.
