Darrelle Revis

I know it will never happen in reality but does anyone know how to trade for Darrelle Revis using the Eagles. I'd love to put him on the other side of Nnamdi in my frnachise.

Re: Darrelle Revis

Since you've stated you're not shooting for realism, you could just set up the rosters with Revis on the Eagles before you start your Eagles franchise. Or you could control all 32 teams (or just control the Jets and Eagles) and force a trade.

I would think Asante Samuel and a first rounder would be enough to move Revis. If that isn't, do a first round this year and a first round next year.

Re: Darrelle Revis

I am gonna try that, I really don't wanna go through with it if I can't trade for him straight up without forcing the trade.

If that doesn't work, throw in a 2nd rounder as well. NFL Teams love picks..

Re: Darrelle Revis

Probably going to take two 90+ rated players in positions the Jets would require and a 1st rounder to even have a chance.

What if you tried;

Asante Samuel + Trent Cole or Jason Babin + 1st rounder perhaps.

I managed to trade Trent Cole for N. Suh so he should have a high value!

Re: Darrelle Revis

Nothing i've tried has worked lol so I'm likely just gonna ride it out with the guys I have. Besides my guys are 2-0 so far in my season so I don't really need him.

In an online league I have the Eagles and my corners are Nnamdi, Revis, Asante, Shareece Wright, and Curtis Marsh.

To be honest Revis isn't anywhere near what he should be in game. In all of the big plays I get from my secondary they are usually from Nnamdi or Asante, Revis really isn't a factor other than an intimidation factor. Your better off just keep Asante or trading for Antonio Cromartie which is a major ballhawk who will make a million more plays than Revis.

Re: Darrelle Revis

Or pick up Sam Shields, for me in every franchise I've played he very rarely gets beat for the deep threat and seems to always out jump the receiver. Also if he gets an interception, which for me he gets a fair few, most of them are pick 6's.

Re: Darrelle Revis

Yeah, the problem is that this is Madden, and especially for CBs, it's Speed > all. So while Revis has incredible cover skills, his speed is only 93, so he's in danger of getting beat by most speedy wide receivers simply because he can't hang on with them. It's why I absolutely love having Peterson and DRC as my top 2 CBs in my fantasy drafts, with Shields and DeMarcus van Dyke as #3/4, no one's ever going to outrun them.
