Anyway to download patches without PSN?
Right now my android is my only means of internet access.
Is there any way I can download the patches so I can transfer them from my phone to the ps3?

You don't need PSN access to download and install patches. All you need is to have the PS3 connected to the internet and it will do it automatically.
