after a few weeks...Strategy Pad thoughts - ?

I popped in ncaa 11 to sim for imported draft classes. Played the big games (ones that could ruin my perfect record). I like the strategy pad now, more then last years version.

I'd like it more if the AI actually gave you some extra time before snapping the ball. Right now, there's not enough time to make all the necessary adjustments in response to the offensive formation, motion, audibles

i still hate it. it's awful. guys who don't audible much may enjoy it, but with madden's awful defense, i find myself making a lot of changes to each play.

Yea. I hate it when your in the middle of doing adjustments and then you give up a big play.

i like the old version better (simply because i'm so quick with it).

its simply a matter of new vs old though.

theres nothing wrong with strategy pad. But then again, there was nothing wrong with the old system either.

Im getting used to it. I still like the old version better, but moving the DL, LB, and Safeties are pretty easy imo. The only thing i still absolutely hare in the WR/RB/TE route switching. Too may button combo's to deal with.

It was difficult at first, but I am getting used to it. I wish it would just be enabled immediately when you break the play select screen however. Hitting it multiple times etc.. is a bit annoying.

But as I work with it, I am becoming more comfortable and am able to move folks around without looking at it, which helps..

There does seem to be a bit of a lag with it however, wish it was more responsive because I like to get my defense set quickly to avoid being caught in a shift.

toggle the strategy pad setting. then you won't have to press a button to turn it on.

I dislike it. Takes way to much time. Plus, there was nothing wrong with the old system. Why fix something that no one complained/cared about?
