Icon5 Anyway to get a roster editor like FlyingFinn for 2K5?

Is is possible?

Does anyone know how?

If we had this we maybe able to add eye black to players, fix body types, ages, height, weight, add photos, and even draft classes.

I know there are some truly talented people on these boards, this would be a game-saver for many.

Surprised there's not already one available for Madden. I'm willing to bet the Roster file is just a text / XML file unless they are serializing a class, which is a big no-no due to incompatibility reasons between versions.

That is what I am thinking too, even if I had to edit it in notepad or something similar I would be fine with that.

I'm sick of drafting 6'5 240lb QB's that look like tall kickers, Mike Zazzali who is a a beast is built like Ryan Longwell. I want to edit these annoying things that drive me crazy. Also it would be sweet to be able to edit attributes of draft classes and possibly bring back the eye black like Finn's editor did for 2K5.

I would think with Madden's popularity this would have been done before.
I'd be willing to donate $ for a working product.

This is what I've been interested in since I picked up Madden 10. I wonder if it's possible and I too would gladly donate to help facilitate this project.

If this stupid game would come out for the PC, yes there would be a great roster editor.

I'll copy the Roster file over and take a look at it to see if it's plain text or not.

i think that would help this game out a ton.
just for kicks i manually edited 2 teams. i took certain player ratings and dropped them by 20 points, i kept none of these ratings above an 85....let me tell you it made a world of difference.

Yeah no doubt global edits would be great especially with things like sacks and int's
I am totally serious I and I think many others would donate good money for a working product.

I want to be able to edit players body-types, pics, faces, ages, and attributes. Also then the possibility of editing the draft classes.

EA should support this, it would get many of us "complainers" off of their backs.

Give us the opportunity to modify the game how WE like.

The only problem I potentially forsee is that to use files online I believe M$ requires the files to be signed with their key. If that's the case, then we won't be able to edit the Roster.

Would that matter for offline franchises?
