I created a special package with backup o-linemen and a TE as my FB for extra blocking. Gets me in 80% of the time. [Reply]

maybe its because i play with the colts but i've sworn off running the ball on the goal line. 8 times out of 10 someone squeezes through my line and stops me for a loss when i try and rund. doesn't matter if i use the FB or HB.

I usually call a "stick" play out of shotgun and hot route receivers to slants.

I very quickly read the defense at the snap. if its man coverage the slants are usually open if its zone I hit my TE on the stick route. easy money except sometimes the TE gets wacked [Reply]

inside the 5, initially call a run play, if the computer comes out in goal line, then audible to a shotgun pass (you gotta have one in your pre sets), the computer will change with you, then audible back into the run and you will get the TD. Cheap, but works a high percentage of the time. [Reply]

It is not easy at all anymore I score in the redzone about 70% of the time I am the Browns. [Reply]

Almost always works, unless your back is Brandon Jacobs or someone on the slower side like that.

Yeah, just run a pitch or sweep. Works 95% of the time. [Reply]

maybe I'm alone on this but isn't it kind of a good thing that being inside the 5 is not a guaranteed TD? [Reply]

I dont have a problem inside the 5. I usually bring Tony Scheffler or the slot receiver on a drag over the middle or on a quick slant. [Reply]

i'm with you however i get stuffed because my guys completely miss blocking assignments. and i don't mean they got beat by a better man on that particular play, i mean i have offensive guards not making contact with the any defensive players while my FB gets tackeld for a 3 yard loss. and this will happen a couple plays in a row.

the thing is that if you run the play action out of goal line its damn near impossible to stop. so its not that its harder to score its just that they have crippled run effectiveness on the 5 yard line. just throw the ball and aits easy peasy [Reply]

Spread em out and run drags and if they aren't there try to run it in with the QB, sometimes this works way too well. [Reply]
