Tackles Total

This happens to me every year. But this year in Madden I play full 15 minute games. i'm in week 13 right now with the patriots and jerod mayo is leading my team in tackles w/ like 56..but the rest of the league theyre up too about 100 tackles by now. Are the stats not counting all of my tackles or what? I know its small but its such a pet peeveeee

well idk whats happened to it, im in week 9 and my defensive end has far over 50 sacks and lord knows how many tackles so obviously i have yet to encounter this problem, sorry i couldnt help.

For some reason I think for user controlled teams that the tackle column is only for Solo tackles but for CPU controlled team it's for solo and assist together. Combine your solo and assist and see if Mayo equals out to the rest of the league.

i don't have a problem with the mlb tackles i get about 7-10 a game.

That's because of 2 reasons:
1: The column "tackles" only shows solo tackles, not total
2: In game, the tackles are counted wrong, just watch when there is a gang tackle. Both players just get an assisted tackle. It should be 1 solo and 1 assist.

The calculation is wrong but your way is not how the NFL does it. You only get a solo tackle when you are the only one who makes the tackle but most of the time people talk about the total tackles. tackles are labeled wrong like you said in your #1. Basically where it says total tackles it is showing solo tackles.

Also for people who are struggling to keep up with the cpu thats because their simulated stats are VERY high. Even if it was actually total tackles it would be high but since that column is actually solo it needs to be a lot lower.

This was always a problem apart from last year when in gang tackles two players would get a tackle each.That evened up the tackles.

every week sub your MLB into a outside postion and play one of your outside up the Middle. It will help balance everything out.

Same with CB Tackles just sub them to ss and put the ss at CB but only for sim games..

Especially when it's obviously just a veiled excuse to brag about your 50 sacks. Lol.
