Madden 07 did so many things right

-play call screen is much better than 10
-introductions better than 10
-radio guy...
-sim stats are not out of wack
-progression
-no flat issue
-franchise menu
-player card (where it tracks their all-time bests)
-user profile

Granted the graphics are not even close to Madden 10 but I was pretty surprised what a $3 game can give you.

The only acceptable use of radio announcers is if they got all 32 radio announcing teams to record unique commentary and then released it as free DLC. Example: if I'm the Packers and i'm playing the Bears at Lambeau, then the Pack's announcers would call the game. If it's in Chicago, the Bears' announcers would call the game.

Obviously that would take years to implement, but it would be awesome.

I found Madden 07 buried in some boxes the other day and popped it in to see how it held up. Didn't get out of the 1st quarter before wanting to play Madden 10 instead.

IMO the playcall screen in 10 is better... I hated the radio guy and don't mind the new commentators.. the flat issue isn't SO bad if you just don't take advantage of it... (I know, we shouldn't HAVE to avoid throwing to the flats)...

I agree... Madden 07 is my favorite Madden on next gen.... I'm wondering if there is a way we can update the rosters..... or does anyone have a roster file for the PS3 version?

The only thing better in any of the older Madden's was the ambulances, career ending injuries, in depth user profiles, and the chain gang getting knocked over when the play comes in their direction.
