Madden NFL Football>Am I the only one that doesn't play on slow or super slow?

It just seems that the slow setting makes the game so much more easier. I just have way too much time to make any decisions and I usually blow out the computer with any slider set, but with Normal or even Fast I have alot less time to think about what I'm doing and it makes me have much better games. I'm not starting a flame war, just was wondering what everyone plays on and why.

I played on fast up until yesterday. I was sick of being unable to complete long passes so I tried out slow. Long story short, I'm enjoying this game far more. I can actually read coverages better and complete passes. I understand your concern about difficulty though. I've only played 3 games on slow and have won them all by 2 possessions or more. (With MySkill.)
But whilst I'm enjoying it I'll keep playing on slow.

I enjoy the game the best on the slow speed. However, I was watching a CPU/CPU game on the new broadcast cam (with my sweet free AFL legacy pack - thanks PS3 & Reebok) and it looked much more sluggish than real life.
I'm not about to bust out the stop watch and compare to the NFL, but I'd guess normal speed is the most realistic...

since the patch and the gimped speed and frame skipping running animations slow speed makes the offense look like they are running through a swamp knee deep.
slow speed is not the same as it used to be.:-)[Reply]

I play on Normal mode.
It's a very personal thing but in Normal mode I feel that the time given for seeing running lanes/reading pass coverages is perfect for my brain to cope with. Not too easy and not too hard.
I really hope that EA keep giving gamers the option on game speed. I would hate to force a fan of Very Fast game speed to play on Normal speed and vice versa (in offline mode).

Bingo.
I mean my preference is Slow speed. But knowing the option is there is awesome.
I feel the same way about accel clock. Some prefer it some dont. But the option being there rocks.

I play on slow and it's ruined NCAA 10 for me. I can't stomach any other speed now. At normal or fast speed on Madden 10 and the only speed on NCAA 10 movement is just too frantic. It looks army ants vs. fire ants.

I like slow speed because I don't feel like I really play defense on normal speed or higher. The game is just too fast and even if your in position the buttons don't seem to respond in time so I'm forced to play the line instead of lb like I like to.

i can actually play better on fast...tried normal and everything was still too slow. i can hit the lanes and holes faster now.
