Is hot routing in your offline franchise like cheating?

I started hot routing a lot more when I started playing online games and now whenever I play offline franchise I find myself doing it again when the defense is giving me a look I don't know.

I'm using custom sliders and the game feels good but I'm still throwing 1-3ints a game. I was wondering if I completely stopped hot routing and toned the difficulty down if this would make the game more enjoyable, and well, realistic.

The game is never going to be realistic when you play against the cpu. They'll all out blitz you while you're in a shotgun four wide set, which pretty much means they're going to be giving up huge yards.

Just find a set of sliders that you like, play your style of game, and try to enjoy what the game will give you.

I wouldn't go as far as saying it's cheating... BUT I personally never call a hot route cuz for my enjoyment I want the game to be more realistic as I can possibly get it to be, and that is just one among 4 or 5 things that I do to help with that.

Finished 1st season with Skins(10-6) and lost in NFC championship game pretty bad(31-17) to the Cardinals.

2 more of my "house rules"...
1-No hot routing period against the CPU
2-Cannot be in shotgun or 4 WR singleback on 1st down.

SO SAD we have to have house rules to get the game to behave "realistic".

I dont see those 2 house rules on SUNDAYS.

I'd suggest trying to limit it to one hot route per play. That is realistic. If a QB sees a defensive mismatch, it's very common for him to have the receiver run a streak or quick in, whatever is appropriate.

that's part of football qb's telling recievers to do a different pattern . how do you think they run no huddle they have different plays two plays in huddle and hot route based of what d shows. defensively you can hot route to to expose something
