Auto-motion

How do you stop a player from going into auto-motion. I've tried to hot route them to keep them from doing it, but it doesn't work. I don't run some of those plays because that makes it easy to figure out whats being run. I'm playing on the 360.

Don't pick those plays. Normally they're the ones with the green streaks.

I know what plays they are, but on the PS2, you could hot route them and stop them from going in motion. I was just wondering how to do this on the 360 version.

On PS3, you can hotroute automotion for pass plays and the automotion wont happen. For run plays, you cant stop the automotion. What I do is highlight the automotion player so it appears I am the one doing the motion. That way youre not giving the tell of when youre gonna hike. If you dont highlight the player, then automotion givess a clear tell of when youre going to hike.

Every Auto motion play has AT LEAST one other play identical in terms of motion, but a different type play. Some sets have 3-4 identical auto motion, but different plays. I have one that I love out of strong I in the NYG playbook. One is the HB dive weak, and then I switch it to the PA version. The FB slides over to look like weak pro, then the FB runs up like a lead blocker, and the QB fakes it to the HB, as the FB is going thru the hole then cutting right across the field for an easy completion.

Start trying out these plays.
