Defensive tip: Use "Show Blitz" audible versus CPU

I don't know what it is, but it seems like I am getting more pressure/sacks on the computer when using the "show blitz" feature with my defensive audibles. I never really fooled with it against the CPU as I figured that the trick wouldn't work. But it seems like the CPU QB becomes a little flustered when you mix in the fake blitzing with your actual blitzing.

Anyone else try this? I am getting noticeably better pressure.

(xbox 360....At pre-snap press Y + left on the left stick)

Also mixing in a heavy dose of bump coverage helps to give your lineman an extra 1-2 seconds to get there.

Don't really like it. Makes it too hard for the AI to run.

I'm not really seeing this on All-Madden. If anything, they're breaking more long gains once they get past the first line of defense when they run.

Eh, for me, I pretty much have to refuse to blitz in order to give the AI a chance at getting back to the line. Maybe my defense is just better, I don't know.

Don't like it for the following reasons:

1) You cannot press cover out of your blitzes with it.
2) It messes up some of the blitz angles - which is why of course I do a lot of manual blitzing.

Isn't show blitz the only way to disguise your coverage?

1. Don't use it when actually blitzing. As another person said, you can't press coverage if you do and it can mess up blitzing angles.
2. Yes it does work if you are in a zone or man coverage to get the CPU to make poorer judgments.

I was getting chewed up by Brady in the first half of a game last night, and changing nothing else about my D play calling, started using "show blitz" whenever I was not blitzing. His completions went down considerably.
