I love the cutsceen that shows players talking together with a towel over the shoulder...Authentic..that is all there is to it.

And the sliders that work as you would think they should..this is both a big and little thing.

One of the themes this is year is, "What you see on Sunday is what you'll see here." Well, why haven't I seen the players reall helmets at the Pro Bowl. I see it in real life. This has never been in next gen. I know it's a little thing that has nothing to do with game play, but it really kills me that all of the Pro Bowl players have a blue pr red helmet. Am I wrong for being hurt by this?
Shouldn't hurt you but clearly it is a bug and should be addressed at some point.

I love this game. By far the best madden ever put out. The only thing I wish is they had fixed the cpu vs cpu injuries. Once again this year if you play cpu vs cpu there are no injuries no matter how high you set the injury slider.

It kills me cause they exist in NCAA 10.

Another little thing is the alternate Jersey's. They are a thing of beauty. I used the cowboys dark jerseys with the white shoulders and the white helmet. My oh my, they look magnificent. I am in awe that EA got so many of the little things right. I'm extremely happy with Madden 10.

Re: The "Little Things" Thread

I love these threads so much. These things are now making their way into Madden, it's good to see them taking after The Show.

Brandon Jacobs falling over while running a flat route in the snow is hilarious and frustrating at the same time.

I liked the fact that you can't throw the ball to him while he's on his arse

What we need for the future, assuming they're not in already, are cutscenes with players getting really angry in big games, if they are going to make the playoffs or not, in the playoffs etc.

Seeing the cowboys Roy Williams stumble when running his route then adjust and attempt to catch the ball. Small thing, that looks really good. They have his mannerisms? down perfectly from the way he catches, falls, the long arms, etc.

My 2cents.. Minn @Oakland(me) Heavy Rain selected for weather(rain on camera beautiful !!). Inside Minn 20yard line JaMarcus Russell drops back to pass and nearly slips downs when he sets up.What makes this great is that you actually see his back foot( right) give way and him using his left hand to balance himself. Awesome animation . Pass was incompleted as it should have been because him now having to hurry the throw. I have to say I'm really enjoying this year version so far.

Re: The "Little Things" Thread

I was playing @ Pittsburgh in my Cleveland dynasty. They were facing like 3rd and 10 or something like that. Big ben completes a pass to Sweed and as he goes out of bounds he is tackled by Brandon Mcdonald. Now he was short of the 3rd down but I was called for unnecessary roughness!! I have never scene this called in a madden before. I ened up losing the game 23-30 they kicked a field goal with 45 seconds left.

Re: The "Little Things" Thread

Playing the Boys, tie game, complete deluge, rain everywhere. Safety Sean Jones picks Romo and takes it to the house.

As he's crossing the goal line he baseball slides into the end zone as if he were on a slip n' slide.

Really cool to watch.
