In my opinion..the poster I quoted should be a little more laid back and not so defensive about his gaming. There are additional things in Madden this year that weren't in last year, and many of them are added "little things".
If this thread shouldn't be here, it'll die a quick death.
I don't know exactly how more laid back I could've been, or how I was necessarily being defensive by stating my opinion... All I meant was for a game to warrant a "Little Things" thread, it should both be out to the public as a whole, and it should also have a foundation of solid presentation with a noticeable and inspiring attention to detail with creativity to boot.
If Madden does so then I will happily report back with all the little things I enjoyed.

Idk if I should be happy with this or annoyed. Just now, I was playing the GS demo. I was the steelers and on a 3rd and long play, I blitz heavily. I was was Woodley coming of the right edge and the corner got to Kurt Warner before I did. However, he forced Kurt to throw a lame duck right when I undercut my opposing OL. It fluttered right to where I was and Woodley automatically caught it for me. I secured it and ran the distance (about 20 yards) for a touchdown dive. The ball didn't warp and neither did Woodley. The entire play looked super smooth and natural... and while i did press the triangle button, it wasn't in time for him to make an animation that quickly. Hmmmm... I don't hate it as it is realistic but it was just kind of weird... in a good way.

It's little, but love how the game ends. Has a big NFL thing with real NFL players and goes "This has been a presentation by EA Sports and Madden NFL 10" then showing the EA Sports logo like a sign off.

Awesome, even though it is a feature we had in last-gen. I really missed this the last few years. Really helps to hit the cutback lanes and get up field.

I still think they should have it as the L1/R1 buttons (PS3) (and with x as the sprint button) and have it pressure sensitive again.
But another moment of mine was when Anquan Boldin caught a ball across the middle and took off. Larry provided a good block and I was the only person in his way at a bad angle. I was able to clip his feet and bring him down though. But the thing was after he got tripped up, he pounded his fist to the ground like "damn. i almost had it!" but im not gonna fake. He then put his hands in the air celebrating, I guess cuz he made a relatively big play. But it was kind of awkward. The fist pound was great though.

Players actually hold on holding penalties, block from behind and get this, they actually grab the facemask on facemask calls! I was playing Packers Vikings at Lambeau and Grant got facemasked big time, (the replay clearly showed Allen gripping and ripping) only the refs didn't catch it so Grant gets up grabbing/jerking his own facemask looking all around like WTF! How do you miss that call? Oh yeah, and the out of bounds hits that get flagged are soooo cool to finally see. It adds that nervousness about blasting someone close to the edge. I'm loving it big time so far.

i had a nice play with Marion Barber. It was a protak animation where he got stood up and kept his feet going. the pile was pushing both ways and then the ref blew the whistle while before the players hit the turf. very nice

NIce little thing: The Menus are Colour-coded
So if your going over the league leaders, each player you go over, the menu turns to the colour of the player's team. It's neat.
