I understand where most of you people are coming from when u mention dudes ramblings, but the fact of the matter is, he is a fan of madden just like all of us, and most of us are on these boards for authenticity, and you may not realize it -- but we all tend to ramble about things in the game that use to be in madden, and got totally lost in the next gen development process...

(Just my 2 cents about apex)
I understand the point,(and it's important) especially when it's brought to us on a once per week basis, but Ian has already said that Madden 11 will have more the locomotion and animations that Fifa does.

When a developer tells you that the next Madden will include better animations and better physics, why keep bringing up the subject before the game goes gold and 10 is released? It's pretty obvious based on the calendar that nothing major will be accomplished in this area before 10 comes out.

Why not wait for the Wishlist thread that Ian will put out once 10 drops?

These are valid concerns Apex is bringing up and I'm surprised people want to dismiss them so easily. Madden 06-09 anyone? I myself clearly remember being frustrated because my nose tackle was constantly getting bowled over by Reggie Bush/Chris Johnson types in 09. Here is a video showing an average wr going through lbs like nothing and no one finds that a little alarming? No more turn on dime animations is what we are told and Peppers pulls off a dandy in this vids and no one is worried? No one has seen any sign of this jostling that will help man coverage but no one is worried about this either?

I gotta be honest this is the only NFL game coming out this year and I'm not seeing the fixes I was promised and that worries me a lot.

PS Please don't tell me "new team, new direction", show me the proof these serious flaws are gone.

The problem with your argument and Ian's claim is this is the 3rd or 4th year of this and we keep hearing the tired old line of "NEXT YEAR" and it has worn thin and carries no weight. So if this is the case of waiting, I'll wait and see if this years game will be available for digital distribution and pick it up in Oct. with a PSPgo.

I agree BB and I agree this is an important issue for realism, but those 3-4 years you are talking about is fixing and digging through a lot of crap. Hopefully, what they added this year, will allow them to work on more complete presentation, more complete Online Franchise and much improved animations for 11.

Whoop dee doo, I couldn't careless for a game in its 2,000th year and you're touting some fixes, and something new? give me a break. This people are veterans on this series, its not like they went out and got team zelda to make this game. Its the same people with a new lead. Its like a assistant manager taking over for the old manager, the core team is still their.

So I'm supposed to be satisfied with they fix something? I don't care about Pro Tak, its meaningless to me. I don't need you labeling something like its the next big thing, it shouldn't even been mentioned.

So, you are forgetting the two NEW people that were brought over from HC, Josh and Donny?

Two new leads, not just one, by the way, that decided to come into a forum of hardcores and take suggestions to make the game better.

Why not wait until after August 14th before criticizing them for the past? Oh, wait, that's too easy.

Pro-Tak isn't all about gang tacking, either.

It's still the core team, Head Coach gig was just a division at tiburon trying to milk suckers for more money on a coach mode of madden. It didn't make money so they strapped it. Coming to a forum and dealing with cutomers isn't new? 2k basketball has been doing it for years as well as the show developers.

Criticize well you were the one who brought up Ian said next year, so August 14th is a moot point for the thread topic since nothing is going to change on the physics animation point right, you said so yourself per Ian.

I know Pro tak, isn't all about tackling, I follow the blogs and forum post to you know. I'm just not impressed with it. The whole pro tak thing in my mind should not have even been mentioned for the simple fact, for what they are touting is simple football mechanics that should have been their 5 years ago.
