Anybody Else Feel Like Madden is Missing that Swag??? Lets Get It!!!

The players on Madden are so lifeless. Its a missing ingredient thus far in Madden. NFL players are some of the most flamboyant individuals on earth and Madden makes them so robotic and uninspiring. Clowning on the way to the endzone is seen every sunday. Celebrations dont take place only in the endzone.

Where is the strut, the gusto, that confidence that EVERY NFL player exudes on Sundays. Madden is missing this component that compels fans and onlookers every game. 2K had swag.I have never even played the game but seeing the players come to life like that makes me want to. Its hard to explain so let me visually show you what swag is.

Check out the flavor with the Arms and the movement of the feat at the end, thats missing in Madden. Thats swag. That brings the player to life.

Madden overall is missing that bounce, that hop that skip that energy that confidence that is swagger. Everything is too stiff. Players in madden celebrate because they have to, not because they want to. Its lifeless. Please bring life to Madden. Some head nod, some bounce, some rhythm. the change of speed and the dragging of the feet. Its a small minute detail that would bring the game to life. I might sound real dumb trying to explain it but somebody has to know what im getting at.

WOW! Chris Johnson is FAST! i knew he was fast, but not that fast. He ran 60 yards in like 6 sec, thats ridiculous. i agree with everything you said though. Good thread

Agreed. It's all of the little motions inbetween plays, at the end of plays, and transitioning between animations that gives the game soul. Madden has no soul.

This is another reason I'd like to see them add a little exaggeration to the movements (a little, not a lot). It just makes the players feel more alive instead of stiff cardboard cutouts like in Madden '09.

This is next level gaming right here. No NFL players stands lifeless. Other than Peyton Manning. NFL is a game of emotion, passion and exuberance. These things need to be exaggerated, because they are non existent in the game. Lets get some blood flowing. Lets get some confidence. Lets get some bounce in the players.

Adrian Peterson busts a 20 yard run, he doesnt get up and walk to the huddle. POPS up, showing emotion and Skips back to the huddle. This is swag. This is life. This sunday in the NFL.
