All right sorry, I misunderstood your post. I agree with what you're saying then. Out of curiosity, do you feel the same about Haynesworth and Polamalu?

Absolutely, IMHO Haynesworth didn't have as good of a season statistically than Kevin Williams of the Vikings who is rated as a 97. Jay Ratliff of the Cowboys wasn't too far behind either of them statistically and he's rated as an 87 (???). I dunno, I think ratings the ratings are very strange this year, the drop off in talent seems too great.

Stop looking to much into stats, Haynesworth for 2 years now has been the most disruptive force at DT.

It's like when somebody says my free safety made 97 tackles and 3 INt's why is he rated 20 points lower then Polamalu???

I agree with this.^^

Furthermore, mainstream stats for DTs are largely worthless. They are rarely going to put up huge sack numbers and when they do, it's often because they are the less feared of the D-Linemen. The best DTs are the guys like Haynesworth that get doubled most every play because when they don't they will destroy the O-Lineman blocking them, and they still manage to be disruptive even with the doubleteams. Kevin Williams is a huge force in the middle, but his statistical superiority over haynesworth has more to do with the fact that Jared Allen and Pat Williams are also drawing significant attention.

Agreed. That one stood out to me big time. He is THE most athletic of all the LB's at Pittsburgh. He's still going to be a beast, but 78 is a major drop from being one of the fastet MLB's in '09 with 86 speed.

I see Gooden from B-More got some love in the speed department...how about some for Timmons?

Re: All Ratings Talk Here Per Millennium

Over the last 3 years, Damon Huard has a 83.3 QB rating
Over the last 3 active years, Alex Smith has a 63.5 QB rating
Alex Smith is coming off an injury and hasn't played in over a year.
Damon Huard's OVR is 54
Alex Smith's OVR is 67

*blink*

Re: All Ratings Talk Here Per Millennium

I do feel some of the drop offs in talent is a little to great from what I've seen in some ratings from the new rosters, but then again they could be wrong.
