Re: All Ratings Talk Here Per Millennium

Clint Session was probably the best LB the Colts had last year. He made tackles, was good in coverage and stepped up when Brackett went down. He didnt do anything really flashy but he was a rock all year. I think a mid 70's rating would be more appropriate and not tied with Hagler who will likely only be used on Special teams this year.

I would think Wheeler could be a bit higher considering he will likely be starting at strong side this year.

Gonzalez should be about an 80 but nothing higher.

Pierre Garcon was a KR specialist last year but this year he is penciled in to be the 3rd WR, apparently the Colts think he is going to be great. I know he is unproven but I think he should be around a 70. What makes Collie better than Garcon? Perhaps he should be equal to Collie.

The last thing is Melvin Bullitt did an amazing job filling in for Sanders last year, yet he's equal to Dante Hughes who hasnt done anything in 2 years, I dont understand that.

Anyway, obviously I am a Colts fan and I see them every week but I do not feel I am being unrealistic.

Could it be to do with the Madden position limits?

Anthony Gonzalez is no way the same speed as Reggie Wayne he's way faster. Ill just change it myself though.

I don't know the Colt's that well, but I've always heard that Sorgi has quite the arm. He only has 65 throw power though. What's up with that?

I was doing a little research just wondering how in the hell Mojo has such a low speed rating and here's what I found...

4.39 That's what he ran @ the combine

Felix Jones of Arkansas ran 4.44 and 4.47, all I want to know is what's going on? If that's the case Felix better have a speed rating of 88

I dont know honestly, Gijon Robinson is listed as the first Fullback, I dont know why they would need two when I think the required is 1.

Also yes Gonzalez is faster than Wayne. I think Gonzo is due for a good year. He was great when he had to fill in for Marvin in 2007 (he had quite a few 100 yard games) and now he's the number two guy, I think he's going to have a great year.

Sorgi has a decent arm and was pretty darn good last year in week 17. Personally I dont know why he's rated so low.

Re: All Ratings Talk Here Per Millennium

Things that need to be fixed for the Colts rating..overall good job on the rating I disagree on a few things though.

Offense

Pierre Garcon- Pierre Garcon should be rated higher then Collie. Coming out of camp the word is Garcon is a lot farther ahead then Collie and Roy Hall.

Anthony Gonzalez - Giving him only 75 is just flat out nuts.
Did anybody watch him last season? At least give the man an 80, he is a very good route runner and yes gents he is fast.

Jacob Tamme and Gijon Robinson- They are not fullbacks. They are tight ends.

I'm fine with all the other rating on offense. Sorgi I think is a lot better then Painter though, now that I think about it. He knows the system a lot better then Painter.

Defense

Clint Session - Wowzors..This guy is a stud and will be an even bigger stud this season. 65 for him, he should at least be a 70.

Philip Wheeler - His rating will go up, hes a linebacker perfect for the new d coordinator. He was drafted by Dungy for blitzing purposes and since the new D Coordinator is more of a blitzing type then meeks, expect to see this guy a lot more.

Terrence Taylor - I'm very happy you guys gave him a 92 on strength. This guy broke so many lifting records at Michigan. Props for doing your homework. I will definitely be using this guy on a DT rotation. He's going to be really good imo.

Muala - Another guy whose rating will go up. Outstanding DT out of USC who will make a difference.

Hayden and Bullitt - Ok the colts gave up 6 passing touchdowns I think last season, correct me if I'm wrong, but these 2 were a big part of it. Kelvin Hayden should be a 90 imo, he "IS" one of the best cover 2 corners in the game. Polian wouldn't pay this guy the money he gave to him for a "corner" if he wasn't a very good corner at the least. Polain pays big position people big money, rare to pay a corner good money, and he did it because hayden is pretty good. As far as Bullitt, this guy subbed in for Sanders all season and did a heck of a job. Bullitt should be near 80.

Well thats it for me...Go Colts!

Re: All Ratings Talk Here Per Millennium

For those saying the ratings are off please use the ratings here and list specifically what you think is off. Instead of just saying someone overall is wrong say what individual ratings they have off.

http://maddennfl.easports.com/cover.action

I must agree that Gonzalez is slightly underrated in his speed. He should lose a couple points in acceleration and add a couple in top end speed(91ish speed and about 86 acceleration) His route running also deserves to be upped to 86-88. I dont know how well he catches but the times I have seen him he shows slightly above average hands and an average ability to catch differently so his current ratings reflect that.

From what most are posting Clint Session should be better then Hagler but their individual ratings are almost on par with each other.
