Re: All Ratings Talk Here Per Millennium

Just looked at the Browns ratings and this is exactly the BS I'm talking about. DW for the Ravens should at least be speed wise equivalent to Robiskie and Masso. And those two guys are not even that fast. Williams ran a 4.4. Robiskie, 4.5 and Masso also ran a 4.5 I believe. Also for the Browns, I think ILB D. Jackson is way to slow.

I personally like the ratings the way they are in 09, its the NFL!!! yea some players stick out and they do in the ratings this year, if javon walker got 150 balls thrown to him a year he'd have 110 catches like johnson or fitz or boldin, point is what separates the real good players from the average players isnt a whole lot, but with these ratings all i have to say is good luck defending moss and steve smith who are running 97's with db's who are running 81's and 82's wtf??? BS BS BS, antoine winfield at an 83 wtf? hes not the fastest but damn, you dont see players getting beat deep very often in the NFL it happens but not like that, i think the deep ball will be way too effective

I don't think that it means that you won't be able to guard Moss, Smith, etc. I think (hope) that it means you have to use a little stratagy. You can't just run 1-on-1 all game with out rolling a safety over the top on Moss' side, which would leave Welker and Co. with more one on ones. It also make the risk/reward of blitzing Brady more apparent. You have the chance of getting to Brady and forcing a bad throw or sack, but you also run the risk of Moss burning you for 6, which is more in line with real life IMHO.

first off, if you play on all madden or use the speed differential slider that ian said they have then speeds will actually be closer to make speed differences more realistic. The difference between 85 speed and 99 speed is less than last year as 85 now is somewhere around what 90 used to be.

Second off,in real life do teams shut down moss and smith with 1 person? Do they actually shut them down with safety help? No, they can be slowed down but that is it.

Not trying to intrude here but ATL shut Smitty down in the 2nd game they played each other....We (lol I said we like im on the team) held him to 0 catches....A goose egg........And we had safety help, ATL is a zone team that very rarely goes man...But when we did go man we matched up Houston on him and he locked him downnnnnnnn...

Wow im getting hype...Well its not everyday that a player from ATL gets regarded for his defense....lol
