Chris Johnson was very efficient during his rookie season, is fast, WENT TO THE PROBOWL AS A ROOKIE, and the only reason he won't get over 90 ovr is because he had to share carries with Mr. Chunky himself, Lendale White.

If anyone knows how to find it, Steve Slaton of the houston texans also had a breakout year and I hope he's in the 80-85 range because he deserves it. C'mon give him 95 speed
Chris Johnson is overall 88 with 99 speed and 98 acceleration

Steve Slaton is overall 87 overall with 92 speed and 93 acceleration.

He's not listed on the dolphins roster ratings im looking at.

He'll probably be added on the first roster update upon release (if he makes the roster).

Re: All Ratings Talk Here Per Millennium

Anyone know Pisa Tinoisamoa's ratings? He isn't on the Bears or Rams rosters on ESPN's ratings list.

Also what's up with Manning on the Bears? He has an 88 speed or something like that and he's listed at safety. He's been playing nickel back for the last year and a half and I think his league high KR average (over 5 attempts) speaks for his speed, people say he's step for step with Hester in races they have at practice.

I can see where the FS comes from, he's listed there on most sites (ESPN, NFL.com, ect) and in the bears D the nickel corner has to be corner quick and still support the run like a safety. But the 88 speed is bugging me. He had a 94 last year and if a returner like Josh Wilson stays at 95 Manning should at least be a 91 or 92. I think thats reasonable for the "ratings stretch" if you list him at corner.

Chris Johnson got a pretty good rating. Like the one guy said he'll be a 99 speed. The only thing that will make him lower than Forte is that he had a better Oline and he isn't a complete back (or he hasn't proven it yet). Also Forte is a better pure reciever than he is (i.e. routes, hands, ect). Another thing that hurts Johnson's stock is he never did well unless White was doing well, which shows he can't do it on his own because teams get tired out by White if he does well. You can even look at the stats. I don't know them off the top of my head but I got into this convo with a titans fan a few months ago and we looked up the stats and Johnson sucked if White didn't get at least 10 carries in the game.

Re: All Ratings Talk Here Per Millennium

I probably missed it in this thread, but what determines a KR rating for a player?

Mainly his Kick Return rating. If you are looking at the team stats for M10 it is known as Return

I hate sentences like this. They are a dime a dozen and mean absolutely nothing. One day you will wake up and realize that Mel Kiper doesnt know as much as he thinks he does. Aaron Curry could still be a huge bust. They said these things about players like Ryan Leaf and Charles Rogers too and where are they at now? And then there are the players who werent talked about like Tom Brady, who made it.

A players success in the NFL doesnt just depend on talent. It depends even less on what he achieved in college. It equally depends on his brains and ability to learn, his work ethic, and his will. Only the best of the best make it to the NFL. The smart talented players are the ones who shine.

Look at Vince Young, hes dumb as a rock, his wonderlic showed it. And its showing in his inability to run the offense in Tennessee.

Theres no way of knowing what a player will do coming out of college no matter how "polished" or "NFL ready" that people think they are. Ratings in Madden are determined by where they were drafted and their position.

I'm glad that he is a 95 but, he really isn't that fast. I mean, he flies in on tackles but I've seen him not able to catch up to running backs that aren't known for speed like Matt Forte. He should be a 90 at least in speed. The thing is, for the past 3 Madden's on current gen, they have made Bob Sanders very skinny. He is short and built. He is very big, not some 5'9" scrawny player, he is very big. Hopefully they made him that way.
