living in the philly area, I see them play just about every week(unless a raiders game is on at the same time) and boy their defense really got shafted. their DLine and LBers much better than that, i think they had a top 3 D and led the league in sacks or something like that

some other things i saw, was that

-brandon mebane, the DT for the seahawks, was the reason they let bernard go. no way bernard is 9 pts higher than him, it should be the other way around

-the game, overall, really underrated backups. believe it or not, some teams have starting quality backups. not every backup oline has to have a 60 rating to justify the "ratings curve"

all in all, I liked the HC09 rating method MUCH more.

Stewart Bradley had a better year than Henderson and is 3 points lower. The rest of the Eagles LB corps (one of the up and coming groups in the league) are both 70's. The ratings are so much different it's strange. I don't know what to think.

Teddi Bruschi is an 81 in the game... he's 36, slower than Henderson, hasn't had the stats Henderson has had in the last few years... but i guess donny is projecting a better future for Bruschi right:

What?

I wouldn't have a problem with the 80 if other players were also in that range but Henderson was coming off a probowl year, he was our defensive player of the year, he put up better numbers than many lbs rated higher than him and i think he's the lowest rated mlb in the nfc north as of now.
I understand that he was injured and missed 12 games but to reduce his rating by 13 points is ridiculous.
I think if he was a patriot or even a lion (don't get me started on the lions lbs ratings), he'd be rated a 90.

haha, i was just about to come here and complain about the eagles ratings (#3 defense, what?) but i see you guys already beat me to it!

m. patterson - has been a solid force for years now, 84 as he is borderline pro-bowl
b. bunkley - perfect, still raw, but a world of potential
s. bradley - was a big part of our run dominance last year, 83 plz?
a. jordan - about right
c. gocong - not a pass covering lber but a hard nosed guy, 77 isnt that a solid starter?

...and minor gripe i guess... but how in god's name can maclin be faster than desean? 4.35, 62 catches for 912 yds? respect? gimme some.

Is that the real ratings for ATL oline.....really....I know its just an overall but really.... Not 1 player is atleast a 90...So you are saying that a team that has the 2nd leading rusher in the NFL and as a team they were I think 3rd in the NFL doesnt even have 1 player above 90....

Guys I know this is the overall but come on...How can ATL be considered to be one of the top O-Lines in the NFL when a Team like NE and PHI has 5 guys better than ATL best guy in madden...Does that make any sence to you? If Donny can justify this plese post any way, post the run blocking for ATL compared to some other teams or whatever. But there is no way all those players are better than ATL best player...

I won't quote ^^^^^^^ but i agree with the Falcons fan.

The pats Oline is well overrated!! They gave up more Sacks than 85% of the league last year. Not sure what there rushing stats where but i would be suprised if they were top 3... doesn't add up to their ratings.
Mind you... Adalius Thomas who was injured for half the year, missed 8 games is still 90+ whereas E.J Henderson who missed 12 games fell 13 points to 80.

I have no idea how the rams got 5 Olineman over 75 nor the chiefs having 4?

ok u all complain about a player taht got hurt last year n went down 13 points???
well what about a player that played 15 games n started most of them n had 100+ tackles for corner how does he go down 17 points???

Corey Graham isn't even a starter for the bears... and the bears secondary sucks. Corey Graham isn't a probowler in his position, Corey Graham isn't the defensive captain or Defensive player of the year... all of which Henderson was. Corey Graham wasn't rated in the mid 90s then dropped to 80.

Ok, I get the whole "the guy hasn't even played a down in the nfl yet" rant that you people have but seriously how realistic would it be to rate all rookies lower than all veteran players? Every year there are rookies that make an impact in the league and so the rookies have to be rated so that some have the ability to do that even more so than some players who have played one or two years as decent backups without any great amount of production.

Yea he isn't a star I know that but he was a starter last year n most likely will be a starting fs I'm just saying how could a player that had 100+ tackles for a corner how does he become one of the worst corners on the game
