Yea, if they want to reduce clutter how about just one madden thread. Imagine how little clutter there would be then. I will have to look up the individual ratings later to make sure but I would assume a lot of the difference is in matt being a more all around back being able to catch passes and pass block decently well. Running the ball I think they should be similar

With the rushing ratings they are similar just forte's recieving ratings r more like a wide recievers ratings

2010 Madden rating (Speed)

You tell me who got screwed!!!! I know that 40 times don't represent real game speed but how can anyone justify there being a 6 point difference? Forte's also got better agility and acceleration. How did they figure that in?

I don't think Kevin Smith's ratings are bad. I just think that Forte's ratings are skewed on the "high" side.

wow, if smith only got 84 speed compared to some of these slower guys being given 88-90 speed then he did get screwed. I haven't looked at his individual ratings yet but will once I get home but that is pretty bad.

I do agree forte's speed is to high but I do think there overalls r about right

matt's may be a little high but there are others in that same area who ran similar times and should be around that same speed. smith should be up near that 88-90 range as well probably.

I think it would be better if they both were in the 84-86 speed cos if there both 88-90 then everyone will complain about there wr's speeds being lower then kevin smith n matt forte

The thing is they run similar times to a lot of recievers. They both run in that low to mid 4.4 time and as long as they can both translate that onto the field in the expected manner then they both should have more speed than a guy like knowshon moreno for instance who has 88 speed or a guy like brian westbrook who runs around a 4.57 and gets caught from behind quite often once he hits top speed but is given even higher speed in the game. The recievers who run faster times are in the 90s and recievers who run around that 4.4 speed are put in that around 88-90 area so why should these players be rated slower just because they play running back?
