Timmons is underrated....period. All this squabble about it being pointless, I'm far from a Steelers fan but obviously people can see he is super talented. To drop down as far as he did from his 09' rating, without really a explanation is the reason people are complaining.

AC KNOWS...

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results... EA NCAAF take heed to this.

Re: All Ratings Talk Here Per Millennium

Why is Aaron Rodgers so low? He was 4th in fantasy points last year behind the likes of AP, Fitz, and Brees (Not in order). He had top 10 stats as a passer and in some areas top 5. So why is he not a top 10 QB? I can see that Peyton, Brady, Brees, Rivers, and a couple more are ahead of him but Palmer and Eli? Im a little baffled.

Also can you stop killing Al Harris speed. The dude keeps stride for stride with a lot of the fastest recievers in the NFL but hes always so slow in your games. Its a little confusing that hes so slow. Watch his footwork drill that he recently released. The man has amazingly quick feet.

James Jones was done dirty. He was hurt almost all year last year with a lingering sprained anckle. Tom Brady was hurt all year but you barely dropped him. Carson Palmer has been hurt that past couple years and you only dropped him a few points. Just al ittle fairness would be appreciated towards the Packers players who were injured.

Cullen Jenkins is another question mark. The dude had 2 1/2 sacks in 3 1/2 games and was all over the backfield multiple time. He got hurt in the fourth game and you amazingly managed to drop him a whole ten point from a 91 to an 81 and even Packer coaches are starting to mention that he may be one of the best players on the defense. Other scouts say that he was one of the best defensive ends during the time he played before the injury. Nick Barnett got hurt and you dropped him from a 91 or 92 all the way to an 82 or 84, something like that. A little fairness please?

Are you guys going for the Playa Haters Ball Award this year? Hate Hate Hate on the Packers. I see how it is.

Green Bay 78 ovr: 6-10
Last Five Games: 1-4

Raiders 71 ovr: 5-11
Last Five Games: 2-3

idk but if we based the ratings on which team is expected to do better going into next season i would say the Raiders and Green Bay should be a little closer together. I still think Green Bay will do better next year so updates should fix everything.

Re: All Ratings Talk Here Per Millennium

We have already talked about Rogers but we did not have his ratings. I agree he did have a great season statistically but he was also playing against cupcake pass defenses. Here is my post about him before the official ratings were released.

1. Packers played against 7 games of the bottom 10 pass defenses and only played against 3 games with top ten defenses.
2. He has a great receiving core. Not only can they catch the ball but they make great runs after the catch.
3. Farve put up similar/better numbers before he left. You would think that a young offense would only get better.
4. Overall he flashed greatness

Pros
1. Onto talking about Rogers himself. He has a great throw on the run ability. In fact, almost half of his highlights are him moving around and throwing on the run.
2. He has an average starting NFL QB arm. Meaning he can make all the throws and he has some zip.
3. He is mobile
4. He put up good numbers
5. He has solid deep accuracy

Cons
1. He played extremely weak defenses.
2. During many of the highlight Reels of 08 I saw he was slow to deliver the ball. He lacks great awareness.
3. He played in a west coast system. Known for inflating QB numbers.
4. He was inconsistent. Many times I saw his WRs slow down to make a play on the ball and then others I saw them catch in stride no problem.
5. When he had the chance to win games, he would lose them.

Do I think he is a franchise QB? The judge and jury are still out on that one. I think he should be rated in the 80s overall. He has yet to prove that he is a franchise QB or even a top 8 QB. Do I agree with the top 8 list? Yes and no. If Cutler is an 87 and is consider a franchise QB I really have to wonder where the rest of the league falls.
Madden NFL 10 Ratings: Top 10 by Position (ESPN Videogames)

I feel that Rogers is rated very well for his performance last year. He does have average awareness and has above above average TOR, PA, and accuracy IRL. His overall is only an 86 because of the 76 at awareness.

Re: All Ratings Talk Here Per Millennium

From David White's twitter...
Code:
If Chaz Schilens has failed to make a catch in tight coverage, I must ave missed it. He's the No. 1 WR out here, hands down.
I am still pissed that of Oaklands WR's hes rated as one of the lowest when in fact he should be one of the highest.... There has been tons of proof of him being a #1 the above example just sums it up.

Re: All Ratings Talk Here Per Millennium

Does anyone have a link where I can see all of the QB's passer ratings? Short/medium/deep? I found a link with the top 10 QB's but the teams I want to use all have average QB's. Thanks!

Re: All Ratings Talk Here Per Millennium

I've been researching for awhile but I can't remember where I found it and I doubt the devs are answering PMs this time of year. I remember hearing/reading that the decisions was made months ago to lock stregth and speed attributes in egards to progression. Anyone confrim this? I thinks it's lame. I bet you get slower and weaker as you get older. They should be able to increase some.
