Thanks for the ratings link. Curry is overrated as all the rookies are. But i have to disagree with you on this thought of why Tisaisamoa was released. He no longer fit the system that they were running. He was drafted when Lovie Smith was in STL for the Tampa 2 defense. H efits the Bears needs perfactly to play 1st and second down. A nickle corner will come in on 3rd dowm.

Your right... I forgot about that. Still, he's not all that great, just solid. I would say his rating is about right.

An established 100 plus tackle guy has no buisness being rated less than a rookie coming in. IMHO

As someone said earlier. your focusing on the tackle stat too much. I agree that curry shouldnt be rated so high when he hasnt proved anything, but I would take him over Tisaisamoa any day.

Of course you would so would I. But I just think that rookies should not be rated over 80 in the new system. My reasoning behind this is, on average 20 rookies earn starting jobs when they enter the league. Maddens rating system has rookies from the 1st & 2nd round coming in with higher ratings than some established guys. I wish that there was a way to fix this. For instance rookies should have a very high Potential rating. And that should impact how fast their awarness raises. Established players potential should be very low. considering we already know what they are capable of.

Question 4 IAN. Is the ratings in Madden Relative to their position, or is it global throughout the gm? EX: WR-M. Colston has 81 in spd rookie LB-S.Arnoux has 87 in spd.

I wouldn't get too concerned with rookie ratings, it's not like they won't be publishing a roster update and fixing them. If Curry ends up starting slow he'll be worse, but I see no gripe with his tackle rating when he was the most ready defender and seen as a 'can't miss prospect'.

just wanted to say is that in my opinion a LB or DE running a 4.4 isn't the same as a WR,RB, or DB running a 4.4
