Dude, Westbrooks overal should be dropped. The dude is a beast but not running the ball. He is great in Space and Screens but not a between the tackler runner.

Not sure where you are getting this, but Tom Brady does not have a 99 THP in Madden 10. Period.

I believe I have him at 60-something truck, so he not breaking any tackles at all in a power or forceful way.

Hello thanks for the rookie ratings list you posted after the draft i have a few questions for you if you do not mind awnsering if not its ok

1st in the list for the Chiefs i did not see Colin Brown and Ryan Soccup listed have you recentally added these guys as i would like to have Soccup in the game as well

also we are running a 3-4 defense as the primerey defense but we will have some 4-3 added in as well have the rosters been set to where players like Glenn Dorsey who will be a 3-4 DE and a 4-3 DT in our defense play both positions and have his ratings change depending on the defense we go to in game

i was just cerious but mainly i hope you add the remaining Rookies to the Chiefs roster that we not listed in your ratings spred sheet for the rookies and if you have added them can i players have the overalls for Soccup and Brown and if you wish add any importent attibutes i should know about

also when is the roster cutoff date aand when can we expect a list of all players ratings in the game

and what happen to the old roster gruru Justin Crankshaw is he still doing the rosters as i seen you do the ratings or do you do both the rosters and ratngs i was just cerious anyway good job on adding the new QB Ratings i cannot wait till augest good night!

I guess I'm gonna join in on all the fun....

The list isn't too bad... but I do have a least a few problems with it.

IMO, I really don't think they (Donny) were fair to Phillip Rivers. I think he should be higher on that top ten list. Maybe like 91-92 overall at least...???

Jay Cutler should be replaced in the top ten with Chad Pennington. (Cutler was the 16th rated QB last year.) Pennington should be about 88 overall, with high awareness and accuracy in the low to middle ranges.

Carson Palmer still deserves some love until he proves otherwise..... I'd say he should be at about an 87.

I think Cutler should be about 86, along with Arron Rodgers.(some would argue that Rodgers could be even higher when you look at the stats, but I'm trying not to be a homer....) I'd then say that Matt Ryan, and Matt Schaub should be next at 85.

That would make up my top 15 list for QB's.

This in not based on pure opinion..... stats come in handy for evaluating players..... take a look at the QB stats for 2008 and you'll easily see why I say they aren't being fair to Rivers, and Cutler is a bit overrated.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/statis...on=2&year=2008

As far as the WR's go..... Roddy White is a bit high, and I think he should be rated at about 91-92. I would hope Greg Jennings is right at the edge of this list. He should be rated in the 90's at least...... I hope.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/statis...on=2&year=2008

The RB's are pretty tough. I guess I would say that Marion Barber with his 3.7 avg. is a little overrated. He is damn good though..... just not sure if he's 91 good. Here are the stats.... You guys decide......

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/statis...on=2&year=2008

p.s. ....... As a Packers fan..... I was surprised to see Ryan Grant in the 9th spot for rushing yards...... it just didn't seem like it during the season. I don't expect a real high rating from Donny, but the guy still produced while playing dinged up all year with hamstring problems. I hope he doesn't send him into mediocrity just because he had a "quiet" season compared to 2007.

Still looks like more 99's than I thought I'd see when I first heard about the "scaled back" ratings..... but they are elite players, and most deserve them.

I know it seems like "nit picking" when talking about these ratings like this.... but It does matter for those who want to try to play online this year..... you can't edit your rosters when playing ranked games online. If all the glitching and cheesing is under control in M10.... I think I'll play online a lot more this year.
