Actually Leonard has dropped weight now. He is going to be uses as a RB for the Bengals so now hes going back down to 225 rather than 240.

What is a true RB and How is he not a true RB? He is now listed as a RB for the Bengals. He is going back down to his natural weight of 225. He was a dominate RB for Rutgers and was even being touted as a Heisman Candidate as a RB but he decided that for the better of the team he would move to FB and let Ray Rice be the RB. If you see him play he doesnt have the quickness or the speed of RBs hes a poor mans Leron McClain if that.

Losing weight doesn't necessarily mean you will be better for the position.
From watching Leonard play its not a weight issue that's holding him back its a skills issue he doesn't possess the skills of a NFL RB.

Hes maybe a short yardage guy. If Rams don't want you that means you prob not any good

The Rams wanted him to play FB when in fact he was better suited as a RB. Please do me a favor and don't compare him to Le'Ron McClain. McClain ran a 4.8 40 yard dash while Leonard ran a 4.49. Theres a huge difference. McClain put up O-lineman speed numbers.

McClain may have been slower in the combine but he is the much better NFL player. Combine numbers dont mean anything in terms of NFL success. if it was all about the combine Michael Johnson would have been a top 5 pick but instead went in the 3rd round.

Rams did play Leonard at RB and he wasnt good enough to make it on the Rams of all teams. There is much more to playing RB then running speed. If speed was all that mattered Reggie Bush would be the best RB to ever play.

The NFL isnt Madden its not all about speed

In his rookie season in which the Rams O-line was destroyed he got true playing time in 3 games that year and put up over 100 yards against the Cardinals. He hasn't been given the chance to even prove himself. From the time he was drafted by the Rams he was screwed. He was going to play backup to Jackson and then he was told to bulk up and was moved to FB. Now hes getting a true shot with the Bengals to play RB.
