Madden 10 Pat White = Madden 04 Mike Vick?

How do your new rookie ratings compare/contrast with what these players would have been rated when imported from NCAA?

If the new rookie ratings are different, are those differences going to be applied when importing players from NCAA 10 into Madden 10?

I think imported rookie ratings should be very similar to those of the new ones you're creating.

wow dude, now i know for a fact, you have never, never watched Pat White play quarterback at the college level. His accuracy is absolutely terrible. He consistently overthrows/underthrows his targets, and the scouts at the senior bowl were complaining how he missed his targets against AIR. We're not even talking 7 on 7 drills ok, one on one with his receiver and he still consistently missed the strike zone. Please please don't talk about pat white as a passer ok, his accuracy is terrible.

People kill him off with their anger because of The dog fighting charges. I mean, I know tis a bad crime and all but people dis him with uneccessary comments (like you alexbrady) becfause of his charges. If you aint dissing him because of this whats with it.

Granted, a QB's top priority is throwing the ball thats what they are there for. But michael vick actually had passing seasons and rushing seasons. He brought fun to the table with his rushing and his throws were always "daredevil style". How can you dis a quarterback that has been playing the game for ages and still goes to the pro bowl with 2 types of stats?
I wanna see you try stepping on the feild and tossing up some throws and great as he does it.

I'll read out his 2006 stats.

204 completions, 2,474 passing yards 20 TDs, 13 INTS (ok...) and thats about the 2006 season.

what about his 2002 season

231 completions, 2,936 passing yards, 7 yard AVG, 16 Touchdowns and 8 Ints. Good season.

another good season
2004
181 completions, 2,313 passing yards, 7.2 yard AVG, 14 touchdowns, and 12 Ints (not his best season)

But as you can see here he has always had more than 10 touchdowns in his seasons, more touchdowns than interceptions in every single season he has been in.

I don't buy that excuse that they were young wr's. It's easy to try and use the obvious excuse as to why they didn't succeed with vick and why it worked out with Ryan.

Ryan was a ROOKIE QB. Which is a much tougher situation to be in than a rookie WR, and those wr's are still young. They got better cause they had a better QB throwing to them.
Ryan was more accurate, read the defensive coverages better, and threw a ball that was more friendly to catch.

DeSean Jackson was a rookie WR and he became a threat in the league , and this was due to a solid Qb in McNabb. DeSean dropped alot of passes and still needs to learn how to run better routes, but McNabb made up for that with his abilities as a true QB.

I remember seeing clearly when the Falcons made the playoffs, and they faced a team that forced VICK to pass he couldn't handle it.

Like I said I was a Vick fan but I have no problems admitting that my boy wasn't accurate. He was ok , but lack the proper reads of a defense and the consistency of accurate throws.

And you can't say Roddy White was as good as he is now back in 05. He's obviously improved undoubted.

Vick made Crumpler a PRO BOWLER. So when he had a receiver that could catch consistently, they had good stats.

Sure he missed throws, there's no denying that, and he made bad reads. But he was a terror outside the pocket, and his receivers were overwhelmed and couldn't make catches on broken plays.

He wasn't an elite QB because of his throwing ability. His speed made him an average QB at best.

Wrong, sir. His passing stats made him an average QB. His speed and playmaking made him one of the best players in the NFL.

And also, just for anyone who is interested to know, the vast majority of people who are caught dogfighting are given a slap on the wrist and told to stop, but because Vick is a national figure, they give him an extremely harsh sentence.
