Franchise: Would adding Head Coach's Offseason & Injuries be enough of an improvement

Make scouting not a day long process. Make the menu plain black and white for all I care, so stupid that you have to wait 5-10 to go from a player, back to the player list.

They need a NFL Salary Cap rules for Dummies. NBA 2k does this well, it explains why you can't sign player A or player B for a certain amount, then it gives you options from there.

The integration of head coach features into Madden would be fantastic! I think that this would really solidify the franchise mode and make the game infinitely more enjoyable.

If this was the key feature of Madden 2010 I would not be disappointed.

Whats going on Donny? Glad you plan on coming in and interacting with the community. With that being stated (you just had to know it was coming, lol), I have one minor request concerning franchise mode. Would it be possible for you guys to implement the rookies faces into the game instead of there just being a shadow for all rookies?

Doesn't have to be anything special, I think that the utilization of the actual player models face would suffice, even though we'll probably see the same face model every now and again for different players, but no big deal. Something more than the shadow should be there.

The drafting AI in madden needs serious improvement. In my 2nd year of my franchise, and teams such as the Saints and Patriots, while having Brees and Brady respectively, spent both their first 3 draft picks on qb's. Just doesn't make sense.

How about: The resume franchise button work.

The new 'feature', resume franchise, which loads the last saved franchise... doesn't work!!!

It loads a franchise, but definitely not the last saved one....

in addition to this, how about just completley importing HC's franchise mode w/ a coach mode into madden. so when you start your franchise there are 2 options

-normal madden franchise with HC offseason+AI
-basically HC09 w/patches built into Madden '10(so this "mode" or game within game will have other features that the normal franchies cant have-like play knowlege, learning, gameplanning, the unique drafts etc)

so what im asking for, besides revamping madden 09, is how about just importing the HC09 franchise mode right into madden? just essentially copy and paste the thing, add a patch, and youve got 2 games in 1 disc basically. Im asking this because im the type of person who would rather coach a game than play one.
only problem is EA might be a bit too cheap to do this.
