Madden 09 for the Wii question?

I was wondering if you could use the classic controler while you are playing Madden 09 for the Wii. I just purchased the system and though I love the motion sensor stuff some days I just want to sit and play. Does anyone know if this is an option. Thanks for any help.

I don't have a Wii, but I'm pretty sure the only way you can play Madden on Wii is using the Wiimote. It certainly would be nice if they gave you the option to use a GC controller if you wanted, though.

I think the classic controller is only for older downloaded games like Super Mario Bros. and whatnot.

I'm not 100% sure though.

Thanks I think it would be great if you can use a classic controler with the Wii because using the Wii controler gets old somedays.
