Scouting for Press Corners?

This is more directed to Ian, but if anybody knows I'd greatly appreciate it. Is there a certain scouting detail that corresponds to being a press corner? I play my franchise with the Packer and Al Harris is about to retire and I want another press corner to replace him. At first I thought it was "type of player that initiates contact, rather than waiting for the play" but I drafted a 2 round cornerback with that scouting report and he has a press rating of 40. Any help?

Frankly there's no real way to predict it. Just save before and sim through the draft and check who's decent at press.

I'd rather not cheat though. If I remember correctly, one of the 86 new features (I don't know if it made it or not) was that scouting would mean something. You could see exactly the type of player he would be if you scouted him for 16 weeks.

Ian any help?

Where exactly did he say it? A thread or source would be nice as proof to back up your asinine demeanor.

Having six posts and expecting the Lead Developer to answer a personal question about how to draft press corners shows your ignorance. I'm sorry I don't have the credibility you desire, I was simply trying to move this topic along and out of the way since the scouting problem has been solved long ago and many times. Try using the search feature next time

Scouting does seem to work somewhat. I've seen players 40 times get lower, bench press number go up. I've scouted lower potential players that have moved up to a higher potential. And there do seem to be certain scouting details that correspond to certain skills. Especially with WR's like, "shifty receiver who has proper shake to escape the jam" means he's going to have a higher "quick receiver" rating and will be able to beat press coverage more effectively. So don't tell me it doesn't work at all. I think I'll wait for somebody a bit more qualified to answer my question.

Edit: And I did use the search function and found nothing regarding press corners.
