your HD? I downloaded MLB2k8 and I swear to god it looks much more crisp and the lag on throws is very minimal. Also, i turned back on the highlights and cut scenes and they WORKED without lag! I only have a 20gig drive so I can't be downloading every game but if it really does make a difference I may invest in a 120gig. Can anyone look into this and get some real answers? thank you.

Re: Can someone at OS confirm that Madden looks & Plays better after you download it

I've noticed a more consistent framerate in Madden after installing it. Loading seems to be the same but I haven't encountered any slowdown, choppyness, or "this disk is unreadable". ;D

EDIT: Oh by the way if you have a 20GB HD you can only load one game. 360 games seem to be about 6.7GB each and a 20GB HD gets cut to 13.9 after system files. Very unfortunate.

Right, but the point is & was that you can! Also note that the poster hinted at investing in a 120 hd meaning he probably don't use the hd for much anyway...

So how would you install it on your hard drive? What exactly are we talking about here?

Edit: nevermind. Just read about it at pastapadre. I've been without Live for a while now because of a lack of an ethernet cable so I've been out of the loop. Getting Live ready again as I pick up Madden 09 in the next few days.
Sounds cool.

Re: Can someone at OS confirm that Madden looks & Plays better after you download it

Mine loads noticeably faster. Playcall to on-field is faster. Menu's are faster.

I seem to be getting more closeups and framing shots than I did before, enough that I can actually notice the difference (since there were so few and often times none before)

I also saw (and perhaps this is just a coincidence) a few more animations that I haven't seen before. One in particular was a bobble catch that went up into the air, the receiver put his hand up to keep a point of balance, he brings the ball down and in and gets baptized by a DB. It was very hot. I'd never seen that one before and I've been playing since launch.

Overall, it's not a night and day difference, but you will certainly feel a greater level of crispness that wasn't there before. I have to say that MS nailed it with this new feature. Just sucks that I only have a 20GB...
