MADDEN08 PC....

looking to get MADDEN 08 for the pc. is it worth a purchase? if so where could i find some updated rosters. i'm running a intel centrino dual core 2g, 4g memory, is this good enough for the game to run smoothly? thx...

Your specs are probably fine, but what are your graphics card spec?

I tried to get into this game, but like stated in other threads, it just doesn't have the "organic" feel to me. The football freaks site is amazing though, only rivaled by the mvp community imo.

well, i bit the bullet and purchased Madden 08 for the pc. and it runs pretty good on my system. the default had it on all highest settings which is great. and refreshing to see this game with crisp grfx and awesome game play.

now i need roster updates. where can i get them? thx

Looks like you have to register there first, but they're there.

BTW, is it really no different than the PS2 version, graphics-wise?

thanks, i'll check it out.

and hell yes! the grfx on the pc are waaaay better on the pc. the models are the same but it's alot cleaner! i've got the ps2 09 and still rather play this 08 pc with updated rosters. besides, 08 & 09 are the exact same games....

I figured as much, at least on my PC I can get rid of those nasty jaggies by adjusting my anti-aliasing! (Spoken like a true computer nerd.......)

PS2 version is fine, except for that, and the pauses in-between plays.
