I also would like to see an animation or something in the AI so that players will know where the first down sticks are.show them diving for first downs or when running towards the sidelines checking for the markers before they go out of bounds.

I would really like to see more team celebrations. I get really sick of seeing players celebrating by themselves, that pretty rare in the NFL.

Yeah, this seems to be a common theme among many threads here lately.

Tone down the big hits frequency!!! There are too many big hits in the game. It doesn't feel special.

Knock down tackles - not every tackle is a perfect wrapped up tackle like it is now in the game. Most of time is just about making the guy go down even if he falls a few yards after the hit was made.

Running Animations - Ok there are several things with the overall running game that I'm not please.

Have different running style for different situations. Right now players run too high on the shoulders specially when running up the middle for short gains. The only time players run high in their shoulders is when they are wide open or going at full speed which is when big hits should happen. Right now players run to high on their shoulder resulting too many big hits in the game.

Remake the Protect the ball button animation - We all use this button when we know we are going to get hit and we don't want to lose the football. So If I pressed this button my player should hold on to the ball and dive forward just like in the NFL. This is what happens in every freaking play in the NFL. When a running sees that the are no holes for him to run through he just lowers his shoulders and dives forward to get the maximum yardage.

WR - DB play - This aspect of the game is definitely broken.
First of all both the receiver and the defensive back jump to high when going at full speed. Specially defenders.

Not enough dive/falling catches. I don't mean spectacular catches but catching the ball and going down. In real life most of the catches are diving/falling catches. In Madden receivers have the unrealistic ability to go at full speed, jump like 10 feet in the air, catch the ball and more amazingly keep their balance without falling. That is not right.

Actually, scripted will define it better.

Ahhhh...dont tone down to big hits. Just vary them to where their not just decleaters all the time. Big hits are everywhere in the nfl. decleaters are kind of situational. They are very exciting though so I love the frequency they occur. What should never happen is a CB like charles woodson laying out jamal lewis. That kind of things cant happen.

I would like to see more decleators by CPU blockers. In every big offensive play, chances are there is a Huge block to blow a lane wide open.

Re: Madden 20-10: Number of Animations

Here is that hurdle with a defender coming in for a hit while the back is up.

Johnson is coming in for the hit. There have been a few other hits like this in real life. If anyone can remember, Al Wilson on Ty Wheatley and Ray Lewis on I can't remember.

Here is another one where the WR just has the DB beat in one on one and the QB gets time to throw it over the top and the CB cannot get to it. I'd like the pressure to matter in the throw though. One thing the game needs to incorporate is pressure affecting passes. That way you don't always have to get the sack, just get some pressure and it has an effect on the pass.

Alot of guys have been asking for this one for awhile. Notice Forte puts his hand on his guys back so that he does not get stuck.

Wiff tackle attempt. Make some of the A.I defenders wiff on tackles. Not too many of them but some of them need to.

More catching

Look at Scaife here. He's on the ground but still brings it in. Now how can we have this situation in Madden because this would be an INT with the defenders this close.

The CB gets ran over here but hangs on for help.

Here is another cool one. The RB gets on his linemen and tries to back himself in. The defenders are getting off the ground. Go Portis LOL. Rooting for Skins tonight.

Another great one. Brown runs into his own lineman and then spins around.

Terrell Suggs Post Sack

Now here is one that was in NFL FEVER but they never expanded on it. The defender has a big back by his waist but the back is gonna drag this fool for some yards until he gets some help.

Broken Up Pass

Very nice break up here.

Clothesline Sack

Blatant Facemask

Good two player tackle

Catch to the outside

Pile up at the Goal Line 1

Pile up at the Goal Line 2

Notice the bodies are everywhere.

Praying aint gonna help you against Brandon Jacobs, get off of yo knees. Jacobs breaks through and rumbles. That reminds me, make the big backs matter. When Jacobs, Jamal Lewis, LeRon McClain are rumbling stop having CB's come up eating their lunch up high. Give me a break, that's a CB asking for death.

Ahhhh next one is key for me.

Linebacker uses non play side arm in flowing to the ball to keep blocker at bay and continue to the ball.

Here is a dive attempt that slows Portis. So it slows him down and he has to accelerate again. The thing that made 2k irritating at this point is that if this were to happen the guy would actually speed up as he broke this. He should slow down and then accelerate again.

Tries to get the feet but Washington's agility keeps him alive and keeps him going. A back with lesser agility would probably fall here.
