After playing the PS3 version for about 2 months and the PS2 version about 5 days....

I respect your opinion (I own the PS3 version) - If I hadnt finally fixed the ROboQB problem, I would be really tempted. You said its also on the Ps2, I cant spend more time editing rosters/sliders, etc. Also CB, you mentioned the uniforms get dirty in non-rain games, thats in the PS3 (if you change the camera angle to "Classic" from Action Camera-you'll see it, and the grass deteriorate.Looks like EA messed up the one view w/the patch, not the other)

It would be nice for the chaingang and refs on the field...I guess I can always throw in my NFL2k5.

I guess I should be thankful EA really stepped up this year and added FG nets at least no more Radio Announcer

And theres always Backtrack, which really just spells out the direction where the Madden gaming is going

Even ALL-Pro Football had AWESOME inter-active sidelines... I'd settle for knocking over the sideline chain gang (is that in PS2 version, CB?)

I honestly don't know if it is or not. I know its in NCAA '09 on the PS2, but don't know about Madden. When I get home tomorrow afternoon, I'll check for ya

Why do people keep mistaking Backtrack - a very good analytical feature that shows the player what they did wrong, for Rewind, the reset-the-last-play feature which, I agree, I could do without?

Seriously, it's in nearly every thread that comes up about this. And as someone who actually enjoys Backtrack, I hate seeing it get lumped in with Rewind all the time.

bcruise - you are right, I was trying to put down the "rewind" function, Backtrack is actually cool, and what would be cooler would be more of this type strategy breakdown, ie presentation, immersion factor.

It's not a bad thing, don't get me wrong. It's still sad that seemingly more goodies were put into the PS2 and not the PS3..........

Almost makes me wonder why I bothered buying a PS3.........
