And they could add logic that makes it more likely for the defense to get a jump if you use the same snap count too often, but also easier to draw them offside after using the same snap count a number of times.

I guess it would add a little more strategy especially if you like to play with your favorite team (in my case Panthers) but would really like to give Steve Smith a Dual threat at another receiver etc. Playing around with rosters before an online game in All Pro 2K8 gave that game alot of replay value as well as depth in strategy.
These would go under unrank play..

Presentation:
-make the game feel like its an NFL broadcast with sideline reporters, a halftime show of somesorts and a post game show.. also bring back the players coming out of the tunnel, but dont have it just a generic thing.. maybe have ray lewis do his dance and brian dawkins do his crawling thing he always does.. make it team specific
-remember the newspaper in the ps2 version? bring that back and have it revamped.. i used to like that stuff

Animations:
-the runningback animations look very good this year.. very good. but why do the receivers and defensive backs not look as good? it seems that there are only a hanfful of catching animations and if your receiver goes into a certain one, it might prevent him from making the catch.. make a lot of animations for the recivers and DBs.. also injury and penalty animations would be more realistic.. like seeing a players knee just give out or seeing them land awkwardly like chad johnson did in the preaseason.. and facemasks (not just when you try and strip the ball) and other penalty animations too
- change the running style. when some players run it just looks stupid.. give some players their signature running styles like adrian peterson, terrell owens and brian westbrook and LT.. would make the game feel alot better.

The little things:
-why not add a bunch of new uniforms and actually be able to see them prior to a game? more uniforms could not hurt
-i really like the snap count idea that was posted before because it would add a sense of realism to the game
-one thing that i have been wanting in madden for years is human errors. you never get human errors in a game such as fumbled snaps and such.. things like that are automatic.. how bout on a field goal have a separate meter for the snap and if you mess that up its a bad snap

No one is going go for that option.. If the game design correctly with great statgery then a lower rated team can win against higher rated team online.

For me, gameplay improvements to the QB passing game would make a world of difference.

Everything should be a little more sensitive. If I press B to pass to the WR it should take into account a number of interrelated factors:

1. The WR's route and WR fatigue. (There should be a difference between Marvin Harrison and Antawn Randle El running the same route. If a player leaves his route maybe his passing icon disappears or something? If he runs a great route he should get separation)

2. QB accuracy/arm strength/fatigue, etc. Tav Jackson isn't much worse than any other QB in the league, no?

3. QB position/direction of movement. Doesn't seem to be much of a factor right now as you can spin around and throw the ball with a high degreee of accuracy with peyton manning ...

4. How much of a lead the QB puts on the ball. Right now it keeps the defenders off the ball if done correctly ... but the ball seems to be too much "on a string" with the WR. The WR even seems to warp to the ball if he's "supposed" to catch it. If the ball is out of reach, it should be out of reach. He can't get it. Sometimes it works and looks realistic and the ball sails by but those moments are way too few and far between.

If EA tightens up those 4 things I'll be really happy. Throwing out of position or putting too much lead into the throw should lead to VERY errant passes or spectacular plays by switching to the WR and making a spectacular catch.

Well this is supposed to be the year of the franchise so:

A better scouting and draft system. Right now scouting doesn't appear to do anything. Scouting someone should get a more accurate report and better chance of the player's potential being accurate. Draft - player reports should say all college stats as well as who one and was up for Heisman. Detail player injury reports would be cool. Those injuries could play into the NFL.

Trades should include future draft pick and have more slots.

A better progression system that takes into account potential, stats, age, and injuries. Players who win awards or make into the off-season (the deeper the more bonuses) should get higher gains. Progression shold be after pre-season, and maybe 2 more times during the season.

Better injuries. Right now I hardly get and any. Injury slider!

Punt/Kick return slider for blocking

Run block with two sliders one for inside the tackle and one for out

Pass throwing ratings (6 more accuracy) for inside hash mark throws, ouside hash mark throws, for deep, mid and short passes

A better blocking system. Right now the defender peal off the blockers the second you get near them.

Sliders - allow a range for every slider. That way things could be more variable. Allow us to set the range.

Better computer AI when handling various things - trades, draft, re-signing players, signing FA - example a team shouldn't let go a MVP player that had a great year

Would like to attempt to talk players out of retirement. A seperate FA with retired players that you could try and talk out of retirement (with premium contracts of course) would be cool

Franchise wishlist: Combine

Another idea that may or may not be feasible, but I would love to kick the franchise up a notch, is the ability to watch players at the combine. Just an optional, CPU or user-controlled version of the Minigames. You X off a bunch of players that you want watch or play on the Scouting Screen, go watch them perform, get reports (catches, tackles, 40 time, reps ...) on the ones you liked, and then you can target them for the draft.

I think it would be cool anyway.

-They should know when the game is a big,rivalry,exciting,or close game which would make the STADIUM ROCK(Dual Shock3 and Screen Shaking before snap)

Make the crowd more in tune with the game

Pre-game,halftime,and end of the game shows,Sideline injury reports

Signature Style

Interactive sidelines
-When I get tackled or run into a player on the sideline its just like he isn't there

Make the sideline apart of the game cut scenes cheering,holding hands for game winning moments,etc..

Formation Subs in Depth Chart

Team sliders(Play Now Mode)

-How often a team runs vs. pass
-How often a team bltizes,etc.....

Player Tendencies
-How often a QB Scrambles
-How often a player jukes
-How often a WR goes across the middle,etc...

Individual Player Sliders and Global Player sliders
QB Effectiveness under pressure(Both)
QB Accuracy(Both)
DB Press Coverage(Individual+global),etc....

Injuries+Fatigue should effect the way players play.

(Example if a player is tired he shouldn't be able to run as fast and if a qb hurt his arm his passes should be weaker)

FINE TUNE THE GAME NOT REVAMP


OL/DL Short Yardage Interactions
-It should be more of a shoving match rather then blocking

WR/DB Interactions
-Should be more use of the hands especially on fly routes

More Animations
QB -(By ratings)When a player is tackling the QB by his legs and he is still standing he should be able to pass it sometimes

WR-They should be by the ratings meaning a Top reciever vs. A Mediocore corner the Wr should be able to get away with certain moves to gain seperation from the corner

DB-See WR

Passing Gameplay

QB Pressure-Make it mean something and not just him throwing int's but throwing int. grounds,overthrows and underthrows
QB Ratings-Everyone shouldn't be Peyton Manning so icons should go off on certain players if he doesn't recognize the defense...It should be a meter of his QB poise

Redzone Gameplay

The difficulty level should jump up a level when it gets there All Madden should be almost not fair

Graphics are already good just beef them up as much as you can not a real big problem

Make the Presentation 100x Better
Make the game edible
Improve A.I. and Gameplay
More animations
Signature Style

They should be the main focuses for 2010
