- The NFL Draft needs to be adressed!!

Computer picks are in way too fast and you can't follow what happens when trades happen. It just turns to quick. Give us more time to watch that draft event. We could be given the option to advance the CPU picks.

And please give us a new layout of the Draft. It looks like in the first Madden. An announcing of the picked player would be sweet.

Re: **Official Madden 2010 Wishlist Thread**

a score ticker at the bottom of the screen with other games scores. i think madden 93 did this and it made you feel more immersed in a season. also, maybe to take it a step further, it can highlight relevant games to your team (ie: if your in a tight race in the nfc east, it will flash and update the eagles, or redskins or giants scores).

presentation needs to be bumped up significantly. more immersion with league highlights, maybe even a weekly recap show in franchise mode.

superbowl. need i even say anything about this? the presentation was horrible at best. please make me feel like i just won the superbowl. trophy presentation. players celebrating. coaches getting dunked.

and one glitch to address. please stop making the players loose their blocks when i push sprint.

IMO, this is the most unrealistic aspect of Madden. First of all, QB's are too accurate. There should be more underthrows, overthrows, passes sailing out of bounds, etc. Here's one thing that would go a long way in helping here, pressure on the QB. From what I can tell, pass rush has NO effect on the QB. Every pass for the QB is either a sack or a comfortable pass. There is no in between. That is a HUGE part of NFL football. Teams know that you can't sack a QB every time, but you still have to get close to him, scare him, throw his timing off, and force mistakes. That is why teams track hurries. Hell hurries even show up on Madden in game stats. I don't know why, they don't seem to do anything. My idea is that as the pass rush approaches the QB, his accuracy should go down.
I'm glad you re-posted this idea in this wishlist thread . I remember reading suggestion several weeks ago and it makes 100% sense. Defensive pressure needs to be accounted for and the implementation of this idea would get the job done. Furthermore, it still rewards the accurate QB's which I like.

Re: **Official Madden 2010 Wishlist Thread**

All I want is..... A BROADCAST CAMERA!!!

especially for cpu v. cpu games (watch mode)!!
OH and please, please, please get rid of the "quick play" during cpu games.
I mean the play is over, then they back at the line in two seconds, ready to snap. Put in some cut sceans or animations to give the game a better flow to it.. like the last gen games did....

Chain Gang..period. Give us a more customization when it comes to presentation like can I have a choice if I want to see the first down line on the field??

Since there is no more NFL Europe, integrate the CFL into the game.

Everyone on here has some awesome ideas so you cant go wrong with anything on here... this is a great thread like always.

Ian,

Any chance we get feedback on the wishlist? What's already in, what's probable, what's likely, what's not going to make it, ect?

Re: **Official Madden 2010 Wishlist Thread**

I believe the running gameplay has improved this year but user controlled passing and overall control has taken 2 steps back. The lack of true analog control plays a big part.

My #1 wish for Madden 2010 is for all of these (video examples included) issues fixed.

For me they are a game killers and can't be overlooked again if this is the only sim based football game on the market.

I think it's time you guys rethink how playing on the harder levels affect gameplay. Players ability ratings must be absolute. Giving a DB a speed cheat just because your playing on All Madden is very unrealistic. A more realistic way of adjusting gameplay is improving the CPU AI play recognition. (Example) If I constantly throw to a specific section of the field or throw to one WR on 3rd down, All Madden's AI should pick up on these tendencies faster than say All Pro. The AI should read, react and adjust forcing you to mix up your play calls. You create inconsistent experiences with boosting physical abilities via user skill levels. In one video example player A is a 100 in speed and player B is a 93 but player B is running faster than A. Whats the point of giving us the ratings if they don't matter on higher skill levels.

Speaking of dynamic physical abilities, this should be based solely on the player fatigue rating. Some players fatigue faster than others, and this should be represented using a overall game fatigue level. There is no noticeable difference between the 1st and 4th quarters. If I pound the ball through the 3rd quarter I should notice my O-line making bigger holes, defensive lineman coming off blocks slower and linebackers and DB's missing tackles and taking poor pursuit angles. Now that the deep ball has been toned down. Putting together a 14 play 5 minute 80 yard drive should affect 4 quarter gameplay on D.

Overall I am looking forward to a very sim based game next year. Player ratings that trump user gamer level. A true online league with web interaction. Responsive and total user control (allow me to use/program all 10 buttons on the controller). Presentation that affects gameplay. i.e.. tell me who's injured (what position he plays, is the back up a rookie) and if he's out for the game or just a few plays. Teams, individual players and coaching AI should better mimic their real life counterparts.

You've invested in the NFL license, we've invested countless $$ in you. We are ready to go to the next level. Remember we are the same people that bought your game 20 years ago and every year since. Don't get me wrong, Madden on the Commodore 64 is a joke compared to the 360 version but as a collective we ask for more realism.

Better Weather Effects-I can't tell a difference between heavy and light rain/snow
Wind effecting gameplay
Towels on players
Gamebreaks from other games after 2 minute warnings, halftime, and end of quarters

Louder Stadiums I should know a difference from Arrowhead,Lambeau, and Candlestick

Special Presentation for certain games-Rivarly,Big Game,Monday Night,Thursday Night,Saturday Night,Sunday Night,Thanksgiving,Super Bowl,Playoffs,etc...

Each Games should have a certain presentation

Top plays of the week(Franchise) Where you can vote
