Need community help!!! Player/Team animations

Hey all - thought I'd kick off this thread officially for the new year. As preseason is ramping up and we get ever closer to the regular season, I wanted to try and utilize the amount of eyes out here of hardcore football fans to try and look for any specific animations of your favorite players and teams.

Player / Team Specific Celebrations
Player Specific Pre-Play Animations
Player Specific Gameplay Animations

In previous years we have asked for just celebrations, but for this year I figured it wouldn't hurt to just open it up to any kind of animation that you think is truly specific to a certain player or team.

I am also BEGGING you to provide as much information as possible when you post it. Video, pictures, youtube links, or even info on time/quarter of what game you saw it in.

I'll start it off with one I think would be cool to see:

--------------------------------------------------
SPECIFIC ANIMATION: Tom Brady Pointing in pre-play
Details: Tom Brady nearly ALWAYS points out the Mike linebacker in both Shotgun or Under Center
Game / Time Last Seen: Can be found in nearly every game. See images below:

Thanks all! Looking forward to getting all the fun details and animations from this group.

(PLEASE DON'T USE THIS THREAD FOR GENERAL ANIMATION IDEAS. JUST PLAYER SPECIFIC STUFF. THANKS)

DISCLAIMER: This post in no way guarantees that any of these animations will be able to be implemented in Madden NFL 2010.

Guys I am going to ask that in order to keep it clean and neat, and easy for Ian and company to read, please use the template that he's laid out. Also, please check to see that what you are wanting to add to the list isn't already posted.

Thanks guys.

PLEASE READ

Posts that are not on topic and are not of you posting a specific team/player animation, then your post will be deleted. Persons who continually post off-topic or whose posts do not follow thread guidelines will be given infractions.

i could not find a image or video of this.
SPECIFIC ANIMATION: the red player is tagging the blue player who just made a diving catch and is on the ground
Details: normally when a offensive player falls, trips, stumbles, or dives to the ground the closest defender will tag him with both hands while the player is lying on the ground to make sure he is down
Game / Time Last Seen: can be seen a few times in any nfl game.

SPECIFIC ANIMATION: Brian Dawkins doing a suplex
Details: The offensive player facing back to a defender always ends up in the pull forward (backward) on the screen for more yards.
Game / Time Last Seen: Just another big play with a chance of a turnover.

Gameplay Animations

I'm seeing way too many D linemen jumping over O linemen executing chop blocks at the LOS. This rarely happens and it looks way overdone and unrealistic at times.

A better way to show someone getting around a chop block is where they patially get their legs taken out backwards and fall forward with their arms extended pressing on the back of the O linemen and going around.

The animation of someone jumping a chop block needs to be reserved for maybe a handful of D linemen and LB's in the league on rare ocassions when there is an extreme mismatch.

I don't have a pic or video but will post a good example as soon as I find one.

Don't think so, but to the other poster.... talking team specific/player animations, Madden could definitely use big plays only by certain guys that are rare.

Re: Need community help!!! Player/Team animations

QB throwing animations, try to ad as much signature style throwing animations as you can (NBA2k!!!!), This would add so much to the realism of the game. Here is two of the games best but notice how different they deliver the ball

Notice how Romo just kind of flicks the ball side arm, where as Peyton has a totally different throwing motion

This is supposed to be player specific stuff.
