Ok Ian maybe we got off on the wrong foot here and in the other thread! Lets try this again. What I and MANY others would like is if all 32 QBs had generic uniforms on we could tell who they were by the throwing styles. In NBA 2k you can tell who the player is by his jumper and shot animations, thats what we want in madden also have all 32 QBs have there own throwing animations! Does that fall into the guidelines buddy. And please dont ask me to post 32 youtube videos showing you the different animations

Do you think all 32 starting QB's have different enough throwing styles? Sure there's Peyton, McNabb, Vince Young, Garcia, Favre, Bulger, etc...but what about guys like Delhomme, Cutler, Derek Anderson, Palmer, and the like? Do those guys need specific ones or can they share?

I think generally you can share. The top-tier guys should have their own (maybe top 12) and then make other generic animations for the other QBs (3/4, windup - think Leftwich, sidearm, etc).
SPECIFIC ANIMATION: Panthers WR Steve Smith celebrates in a variety of ways after a TD catch! Details: Smith is well known for his many flamboyant TD celebrations and his volatile nature on and off the field. Included in the video are the snow angel, rocking the baby, jump and slide down on the goal post, folded arms, dance and point to the sky, tear off the lid of the football, pulling out his numbers (so to speak) to show off his uniform #, Game / Time Last Seen: after a big TD catch. - YouTube video below, it is about 4 minutes ling but it shows a lot of Smith's most famous celebrations. I apologize if some of these are already in Madden 09, I just want to make sure Carolina gets represented and one of the superstars of the NFL, Smith - is well represented.

Delhomme could share the wrist flicking high throw motion similar to Romo and I'd be Ok with that, although Jake does have a higher release point than Romo.

No not all are extremely different. Let me take Baseball for example, you have the guys with the distinctive batting stances, then you have the guys with generic ones, like open stance, closed stance, etc... I guess the same can be done for the QBs the ones that everyone knows are different ie Romo A.Rodgers, Manning just to name a few could be done while the ones that are to close to call, they could have a generic, throwing style. But not all generic ones should be the same also. Hope that makes some sense
