As a bears fan this pisses me off to no end, but it'd be awesome to see in the game.

Specific Animation: Seahawks FB Leonard Weaver Stiff Arm
Details: Weaver has a nasty distinct stiff arm to the defensive player's helmet that has tremendous results.

From wikipedia: His strong powerful stiff arm has earned many nicknames (a large amount of them originating on the Seattle Seahawks ESPN message board) such as... LWSA (Leonard Weaver Stiff Arm), The Pacifier, The Baptism, and The Divine Touch.

Re: Need community help!!! Player/Team animations

PLEASE....PLEASE for the love of GOD redo the running animation!!! Or should I say the Super Mario running. It's been the same running animation for years and it looks horrible. The players front legs never seem to "reach" out like they should as they stride and the back leg doesn't raise high enough.

It might pass as a lineman, but for the speed guys in the NFL who run like track sprinters it looks awful.

Just get 3 different guys and motion cap them. 1 for lineman, 1 for LB's and TE's and 1 for RB, WR and DBs

Tom Brady does the fake throw and handoff a lot...

You can also add the excessive hand finger licking in 2010

Re: Need community help!!! Player/Team animations

i'm still a relative newcomer to football so if someone could explain this to me then that would be great. ian says that tom brady points out the mike linebacker on almost every play.
1. who is the mike linebacker and what does he do?
2. does it take skill to detect who the mike linebacker is?
3. is tom brady one of the only qbs that calls out the mike on every play?

thanks

1. The Mike Linebacker is the middle linebacker
2. When he points out the Mike, he is telling his offensive line how to construct their pass protection scheme
3. Brady pretty specifically points out the Mike on every play, but most quarterbacks are pointing at something on every play as well.
