Some CPU QB stats in Madden 09
Sure looks like there are an excessive number of INT's in those stats .... have the turnover issues from last year been taken care of?

Does the QB accuracy slider in Madden also affect throw power, that was a big problem with the slider in NCAA the slider had less to do with affecting accuracy and more to do with affecting throw power.

Problem is are the in-completions due to DB knocking down passes or WR drops? A certain percentage of in-completions should be just because the QB threw a bad ball.

Every QB every single game throws at least a few passes that are off target under or over thrown.

Yup, sometimes even intentionally heaving it 20 yards over a receiver's head because of the coverage.

You got to it before me swanlee. And the evidence is pointing towards CB knockdowns.
1 step forward, 2 steps back...........

It's a delicate balance...I know there are much fewer turnovers but I also don't have a sample set of 1,000,000 games that will be played at launch day. I do know that zeroing out the INT slider does make a major impact...so if you feel they are too high you can always tweak it down.

Do you really want Tarvaris shredding up the Bears D?

For the circumstances, the picks look fine to me.

Now, if it was Peyton getting picked off that many times against the Lions D, we'd have a problem.

That would screw franchise mode. Also, it is hard to tell whether the QB rating can be changed to make them throw passes that are off target. For all we know, the necessary edits would just change how far they can throw.

That's good to hear because excessive "CPU generated" turnovers kills gameplay ... I'll assume that applies to the fumble slider as well.
