Just checked in code where the slider gets applied:

Code:

case MaddenFootballAbilities::ID_THROWPWR:
aiMod = 0.0;
So no, the throw power rating does not get affected.

Excellent post. I hope EA reads this and if they haven't figured it out already, gotten the message as to what we want (they shouldn't have the right to decide what they want us to have).

Unfortunately, that doesn't always translate into success because the machine(EA) is more powerful than the cog(Ian).
I hate to go down this road, but do you honestly think that they get $0 reimbursement for all the time they spend on these boards? I'm not being rude, just voicing my opinion.

It's like people who administer suverys. They get feedback from people by giving them information & asking questions.

I'm not trying to say they don't care, because it's pretty obvious they do. It's just annoying seeing the umpteenth post saying the same thing. (Not saying the person I quoted is doing that; it just kinda was on the same page)

That's a pretty good analogy.

What's really disappointing is that these sliders, if we had them for both sides, would have been infinitely better than the old ones overall. Being able to adjust reaction time vs. the run and reaction time vs. the pass independently for the CPU would be awesome.

Same thing with pass blocking... a higher pass block rating would help maintain a more realistic pocket, while Break Block could help offset the fact that setting it like that would give the CPU more time.

CPU QB Accuracy, WR Catching, RB Ability, Awareness, and Knockdowns cannot be adjusted through these sliders. From what I saw from the Demo, Knockdowns is going to be a huge loss.

No special teams sliders hurts badly. Those were absolutely necessary to help offset the pitifully easy kicking game.
There are special teams sliders after all, but they affect both Human and CPU according to the dev.

Sorry, but if Madden sales continue to decline like they did last year, do you think these guys will still have jobs at EA? I dont.

This is the honest to God truth. When I heard about Adaptive AI, I thought to myself, Oh no, I hope they aren't going to leave out CPU sliders.
