New and More Sliders!!

See, removing computer sliders has no benefit to either us or EA, which is why this is extremely puzzling. It's not like EA can't market their new "Adaptive AI" with computer sliders in there.

When we get a response from EA, it would be nice if they could include an explanation/reasoning behind this move if true. Unless there is a technical problem where the sliders would conflict with the new AI system, there is no reason to remove the sliders. Even if they do conflict, there should obviously be a way to turn off the adaptive AI and go back to the "old school" sliders.

Oh god, I referred to sliders as "old school" already. Are they really gone?

Actually, this was going to be my first NextGen Madden. Without sliders, it'll wait another.

Not to mention with an old friend of mine in town and me short on cash, that 90+ bucks I can get back from gamestop right now is sounding good.

how much is madden for xbox and ps2? you're still gonna get the game.. probably a little cheaper... but actually not a bad idea.. i may consider last gen... of course... IF these allegations are true...

To be fair, I don't think I would look at the title of the thread and immediately think it would be about no cpu sliders. So if Ian or Phil saw the title, I don't think that they would know that we would be having this discussion.

It's the same thing for me. If this turns out to be true and you have to play with their horrid settings then count me out. And this was going to be my first time purchasing Madden since 06 on PS2. Unless there's some major explanations of how things are fixed/are going to be fixed, then it looks like the next time I MIGHT buy Madden is 2010.

This is the biggest WTF moment for me in NG Madden.

We just need a reason. If true, it looks like they were taken out for the heck of it or to force us to use their new feature, adaptive AI.

Both are wrong, very wrong.

If that were the case, you can be sure they would have scanned through to receieve their props. Given the title, I'd think they would know that the new sliders they added were being talked about, and would want to see how that discussion is going, maybe even expound upon why they added this or that. The thread however, has taken a sour turn now that CPU sliders can't be found or are simply nonexistent.

If you were trying to sell a game, and you saw the sample size of people being turned off by a possible lack of CPU sliders, would you be eager to come in and confirm that there are indeed no CPU sliders?
