I am glad this thread has calmed down from yesterday. I wonder how much a pass rush can affect CPU accuracy. I mean aren't most NFL QB's accurate when they aren't getting any pressure? Their passes are either caught, dropped, swatted, or picked for the most part.

Im just eager to hear what Ian and Phil have to say, who knows what went into the decision. I think (and thats my opinion only) that we will be able to fix most issues as far as sliders go, minus CPU Acc to a degree and Drops by CPU WR's

I agree with everything you said, especially the line/sentence above. All of us don't understand at this stage, and there isn't anything we can do except to wait for Ian and Phil to come into the bull pit and explain everything, including a solution.

I'd like to know a reason why as well, but I don't know if any answer would satisfy all of us.

On a side note, I enjoyed the demo but if I can't alter the way the CPU plays to get a more "sim-like" game out of it...

I was wondering myself if they would just get rid of sliders (CPU at least) when they came up with this "innovative" idea. Yes, it is a good idea, in theory, if it works correctly, but they have to leave the CPU sliders for those of us that want to tweak it ourselves. There are always hiccups whenever EA puts in a new feature, so they should have left the old slider feature as well.

Well saying someone loses instead of "we all lose" are two entirely different things. I'll agree with you that someone will be upset about the lack of CPU sliders. I'm just hopeful that most of us will be open minded enough to actually play this game and find out how the adaptive AI works before jumping off of any bridges.
