Here is a possible workaround for the lack of CPU Sliders. Being that I don't have the game, nor any knowledge of its workings, this is merely a hypothetical that needs to be tested.

If I understand correctly, the User has an IQ score which determines whether to handicap or help them.

What happens if two USERS are playing against each other? Do the IQ scores still come into play?

If so, see if it is possible to set up one USERS IQ so that their QB Accuracy is at 0 and leave the other's at default. Then enter into a HUMAN vs HUMAN game with these settings.

Once the game starts, move the USER with 0 QB Accuracy to CPU control. See if the CPU now plays with this USER's IQ.

Well at least in ncaa user sliders control cpu. In madden from how this sounds user sliders only control user so then there is NOTHING to change how the CPU plays. That's just inexcusable

Sorry - I don't know the exact math or anything, but let's assume that you start on All-Madden, and throw 4 picks and rush for 30 yards - the sliders will bump over a few ticks so maybe it will feel a bit like a cross between All-Madden and All-Pro, but only in passing and rushing. If you do it again, maybe it will bump down to the equivalent of All-Pro. And on and on...

I missed driving that point home of it being an "option"...the second you go to "Custom" or "All-Madden" or whatever (and turn off the "My Skill" setting), the game stops adapting and you get to "settle in" at that point. You can do this right from the get-go...turning on or off the adaptive skill level stuff can be done at any point.

Guys, if you can't express your concerns and disappointment in a mature and civil manner, then do us all a favor and don't post. Its that simple.

There are plenty of guys on here who are extremely pissed and upset by this decision but have remained civil in their discussion and when venting their frustration.

So wait a second. Not only do we get a game with no sliders, but All Madden level drops all of those sliders down to 0? So basically if you are a gamer with any real skills at all and you are playing on All Madden and still destroying the CPU there is absolutely no way to make the game harder?

In the past if I was winning too much even on All-Madden I could always dip into the sliders to give myself more of a challenge but that is also no longer possible? So I guess it's official...Madden developers are only Madden developers because they have 4.0 gpas and know how to code, not because they have any real skill in knowing what type of game people want. I think its time for EA to move Madden and NCAA somewhere else. Tiburon has dropped the ball far to hard this year. Time for some fresh talent to see what they an do....maybe whoever makes there hockey games.
