Lesson definitely learned. That's why I went ahead and dropped the news of a lack of control config as well.

I have definitely been more than forth-right on the forums here...so my apologies for not being immediately frank. I am glad that this is out before the game is out though so people can make their decisions before they spent their $60 or $90 on it.

Re: New and More Sliders!!

Will the sliders even be back in the game next year? I think this is one of the worst ball drops. Im not pointing fingers at the Senior designer.

But I do think they knew about this before 2 weeks ago. If I was him I would not have said anything about this either. Of course because of the flaming that will ensue.

This is the fault of "THE CORPORATION" as a whole. This is not the first year things like this have happened. Its just like anything else. If you let someone trick you and do nothing about it. Then why should they stop tricking you all of a sudden. We have been letting them get away with things like this for years.

As always hopefully the sheeple will save their money and give "THE CORPORATION" a reason to give us the quality we have had in the past.

People who are sim players will have to realize in order to play a sim game they'll need migrate to text sim games. It will never be on a console unless its Head Coach series

Well now I take what I said back, now that I'm thinking about it, this is bad, this is just flat out bad. I really can't believe how something like this was missed, this is something huge to miss, I think I believe Heel when he said the CPU sliders probably didn't work so they took them out. I never played NFL head Coach, whats the deal on that, is that game any good, do you get to play or just calls the play and watch the CPU play for you?

Re: New and More Sliders!!

I think it is funny that we have 3 Subforums and all have been addressed by EA

1. Online - There is always a huge focus on improving online play and just flat out fair play. Removing manual spectacular catches and line shifts to negate nano blitzes.

2. Rosters - We can now edit players positions again and have had big arm glitches removed.

3. Sliders - We get a game that adapts to you as you play that no one is really sure how it works yet. We all get...... Drum role please...........Cpu sliders removed

I don't understand how things like this cannot be addressed. WE HAVE A SUBFORUM JUST ABOUT CREATING SLIDERS and we no longer have the ability to do that? Seems like an april fools joke. Maybe next year they will remove online play but make it so you can view your EA sports world site on the 360. That would be swell.

EDIT: To be clear I am not bashing you TheFuture15 because we appreciate you being here and helping out but whoever let this happen or "decided" to do it deserves to atleast tell us what he was thinking.

What happened to your statement that this problem (qb accuracy) is a non issue compared to ncaa? Are you retracting that now? At this point this is unacceptable and I don't think you can disagree with that.
I'm not totally sure what you're saying...I posted stats from like 10+ games of User vs. CPU play there's the proof from what is coming out of the game. If you see these as unacceptable then that's cool with me...you've got your right to an opinion and your right as a consumer. What I did do is state without question that the pass rush is definitely much more of a factor and the running game is much more "sim"...and I still I stand behind those statements.

Its not going to affect sales at all. The game may have record sales this year. For most potential purchasers of Madden, this doesn't matter at all. For those few of us who do care about this, its a straight up pimp slap, and all we can do is not buy the game.

Yes.

Re: New and More Sliders!!

And here I was excited to get the game and start documenting games and post stats to Ian so we can fix certain issues with the passing game ...

What's the point if I can't change the CPU sliders? I guess it's Madden 2010 for me. Madden 09 is another fiasco, just like NCAA.

I'm frustrated because the sim user keeps getting pushed aside more and more year by year. This was not an accident. This was an attempt to make "Adaptive AI" the end-all-be-all. We want customizable control, we don't want CPU to develop unrealistic AI just to give us a challenge. We want SIM.
