There are workarounds to many of these situations - so if you think the QB is too powerful you could change the user pass rushing stuff to be more powerful and add more pressure on him. I assume there are situations this probably can't handle though...

PLEASE tell me the qb accuracy can at least be patched... that MAY make the game playable... i just downloaded the demo on my ps3 and currently have no interest at trying it out at this point...

I'd like to make a request as well. Please don't assume you have any more right to voice your opinion than I. I never stated he should be let off the hook for his answer or that he doesn't deserve to be held acountable. I simply thanked him for stepping up and answering without excuse when he could have easily waited for things to die down or not responded at all. If you don't agree, that's fine. My only hope now is NBA2K9. If VC screws that title up (which I highly doubt) I think I'm finally through with sports gaming.

It's just something new every year on next-gen, isn't it?

But hey, they put development resources into making the game more "accessible" this year, right? Something essential yet basic like CPU sliders? Nah, not even important enough.

And u decided not to tell us because? even if they named u designer this morning bro, it takes 10 seconds to see sliders, the 1st thing i do is raise awareness to 100 percent with every ncaa and madden installment ive gotten. Wheres the gameplay guy then? i think he has some questions coming to him.

A couple questions for you

1. Any chance the lack of AI sliders is because of the new mode where the AI adjusts to your play style.

2. I don't expect an honest answer to this question but why is it that companies keep trying to add all these new fetuers when the core game itself is sub par to games that were released last gen. Yes im talking about madden but really its 75% of next gen games as a whole.

The second question is in no way a knock on your game or the madden franchise. But just a general question that I feel needs to be adressed at one point by someone who has a hand in this games.

Ive supported EA sports since I got madden 92 and a sega genesis for my 10th birthday....Bought every single College football game, every madden, every NBA live game up until 2k started making NBA games, all the NBA street's, all their baseball games, basically almost every sports title that came out. Through the good and the bad I stuck by their side but this may be the straw that broke the camel's back............How does this not get caught early on and fixed? I was just playing the demo earlier today and was stunned by the visuals and becoming very amped to get my hands on the full version, even making plans with my friend to drive 2 hours away to get the game early hopefully and make our own "madden holiday"


This may seem extreme to some but my stomach actually hurts now after reading this thread, I feel heartbroken......Had such big plans for 09

Hopefully im jumping the gun here and it turns out to be as good as its hyped to be

I'll play a third Browns/Steelers game after a watch an episode of Weeds. I'm going to go back to a custom (human) slider set instead of the IQ stuff.
