New and More Sliders!!

I'm starting to believe that Phil and Ian have been less than truthful about the problems with this game. All of this "we shoot straight" stuff seems disingenuous at best and out and out lies at worst. I recall them stating that the day 1 patch had no OH SH!T we have to patch that problems.

i'm so confused on whether or not to buy this game right now i could cry... i've never even THOUGHT about not buying a madden game since '01...... sad sad day for hardcore madden fans everywhere.....

To be quite honest if the Devs weren't here right now....I would be taking this news as a huge middle finger to the hardcore gamer straight from Peter Moore.

But with their involvement in the community I don't feel exactly the same. I won't be buying Madden this year but I feel better about future iterations. With more time with the community I feel like the devs will make this game better for not only the casual fans but also us.

I thought that would come up - but remember I haven't been on Madden...I was on totally a different project until the games were actually done. It's kind of a weird situation I've been in as the "face" for the community even though I didn't work on either title after January.

Patching in sliders would just open up a whole new can of worms. That's a feature that will not be brought back til next year, I gurantee you.

Good Question!!! lol I said the same thing, if he only "found out" about that 2 weeks ago then y is anything hes said about the game so far valid?

Do you think, with a little research, you could find out the reasoning (if any) for removing this? I'm not really bothered by it (though i completely understand those who are), I'm just really, really, curious.

haha i will now laugh every time i see the quote "the first game that adapts to YOU" .... i would trade that crap for cpu sliders that worked any day...

I have bought every Madden since the genesis days. This is really sad, a designer just learned two weeks ago that there are no cpu sliders. I will not pick it up on release day that's for sure. Will be a day one rental for me, to see how well it plays without the option to adjust the cpu. Damn that is really embarrasing for EA to do this.

I pray to GOD that NHL isn't somehow messed up this year too.
