Yeah, you can see this game is orders of magnitude better than the previous versions in almost every facet of the game. I'll just repeat what another poster said Ian in asking if we'll ever see any PS3 footage of this game? Hopefully that's not asking too much and wont' require a lot of politics to get it done. I'm obviously not asking you to do another elaborate vid like this one, but a couple minutes would suffice.

EA should just hire the 2k5/8 play by play guys,add chris with them. Make it a three man both and be done with it.


add more detailed stat overlays and in depth PRE/HALFTIME AND POST GAME SHOWS AND HIGHLITES

Are we talking about a CHILD here or the ADULTS who produce madden. Big difference IMO, I don't think the negativity will "wear them down" especially if there goal is to truly make madden a better game. I'm just saying...................

And I don't mean to sound like a jerk, either, but people haven't just been saying that for the last 100 posts; they've been saying it for years, and I don't know why it only gets a little better every year. There are plenty of games out there with good presentation that EA could be looking at for ideas. Heck, I saw some vids for EA's upcoming Hockey game, and the presentation made my mouth water. It was outstanding. I think by now that a next gen game would have great presentation. I'm just frustrated, that's all.

I'll tell you what I like this year the most; I like the Backtrack feature. I think that it will be very helpful to look back at the play and hear Collinsworth tell me what went wrong - it will help improve my game. Plus, I think it could be a good presentation aspect. You would make this player a happy camper if you would make the Backtrack feature manually available at the push of a button after every play. I also like the variety of uniforms I'm seeing. I give you kudos on that. Plus, I think that the drastic decrease in turnovers will help the game.

Actually, speaking from experience, it definitely can. It's not like it makes me work less hard, it just makes me not visit the forums as often. Just imagine reading over and over again about someone saying you a.) are lazy, b.) are stupid, c.) have never watched a football game or d.) wish you would get fired so VC could take over again.

squashed that whole "ea doesnt care" thing people had goin for a while.

i say next year just start from here in terms of presentation but add to it like half time and post game shows the main thing in presentation that i dont care for is after you win the superbowl its the same thing it would be okay i guess if you just added the trophy but i know its to late so maybe next year

gameplay is great from what i can see like i said before just advance from here i dont need to go into OL/DL or DB/WR interaction because everyone has said it

one thing i know for sure this is as sure as ive been about madden being a great game since we've been on next gen and can't wait to buy it and im pretty sure i wont need to buy the ps2 version later on.

Hey Ian, I hate to harp but could you speak on the PS3 version of the game for a moment. I know alot of us exclusive PS3 owners are a little worried about the lack of footage from the game. I know it has been said that the 2 versions are identical but I would love to hear it from you. If you have already said it I am sorry. Its just that we have been told this before (other companies) and it turned out to be a blatant lie.

I liked

1. Great animations,
2. The control looks insane this year everything looks so fluid.
3. The muffed punt return is awesome!
4. Imo the speed of the game is perfect!
5. The stadiums, fields, player models look fantastic!
6. Love the fake play art on the filed great addition bro!
7. Love the animation after scoring a td to throw the ball at the
home teams logo freaking awesome
8. The announcing is a huge step forward huge!! collingworth is
great!
9. Sidelines look so much better!
10. I could go on for awhile.

Negatives

1. Hammond needs a little more emotion
2. The game cuts alot to the corner shot of the endzone
no biggie

Ok i think this is enough. Do you guys realize that this is the guy in charge of madden ON OUR BOARDS ASKING OUR OPINION. We understand that madden for the past years have not been up to par putting it nicely and Ian and Phil have admitted this. But its enough now. Ian and Phil have gone out of their way to come on here and ask us our ideas and opinions. This years game could have been easily another "lackluster madden without what the fans wanted" but its not. Its a step in the right direction. So i think that we should just stop focusing on the negative already. Please Ian, stay on the boards. We all appriciate it.
